Nice drive to start the game, and I won't fault the coaching staff for trying the onside kick. If it worked, they're brilliant, it didn't, nice try.
Some genius knew what he was talking about. What a pathetic joke you are. Your obsession continues.

They're fucking bad as usual. Now they don't have an offense.

As I said all week, we can run all day on Memphis, and make them stop the run, which will open up the passing game.
LOL. We came out balanced which set the tone. We were finally throwing to our backs. We were aggressive. Everything we'd been asking for and it paid off.

Run the ball down their throats, and sprinkle in the pass (though more bad things have happened in the passing game such as sacks and dropped passes) but control the clock has been key.
LOl. How many of our runs were Banks going back to pass and then running now that the coaching staff realized their mistake and let him use his running abilities which are immense.

Banks is playing BY FAR his best game of the year. He's been very accurate with his throws. The one that Mooney dropped in traffic was as accurate as possible, and it looked like Mooney was a step clear of the scrum, he might have taken it to the house. We're running the ball and Memphis cannot stop the run. Huff is a beast, we NEED to account for him on every play, if need be keep a back in to help out when we're trying to pass.
Memphis took that TO.

Mooney hadn't dropped any passes before tonight. Tonight he dropped three in the first half. That would have been a TD on that 3rd down play.

It was really over 500 yds of offense. Gave up 10 yds kneeling to run the clock out.

22 pass plays, 56 run plays. And we ESTABLISHED THE RUN EARLY AND OFTEN. You have your head up your ass and were SO WRONG! The announcers said it often: The way for Tulane to win this game is to hold the ball and keep Memphis' offense off the field. They did and they won.

But you can keep telling yourself it was all because they came out balanced! In your world you can turn 56 rushes and 22 passes into a balanced attack!

1. You try to correct me, but I already said the pass was accurate and might have been a TD. Your obsession continues.
2. Tulane had two timeouts but after that long play that ended close to the goal line, they only had one left. Maybe ESPN took away a TO from the wrong team, but that's what was on the screen. 1 TO.

How pathetic you are. We did come out balanced and did the things many of us clamored for us to do. We finally threw to the backs. Memphis sucks. deal with it.

First 20 plays: `14 rushing plays and 6 pass plays. After Memphis scored in 10 seconds we ran the ball and kept their offense off the field.

A great win, celebrate it, rather than tell us what we watched.

Or get back on your meds.

Mods ? Anything ? Let’s see if this will prompt a response. You two are a cancer that prevent normal folks from coming around. How about you leave . . . This post ended with several extremely inappropriate comments from me but i deleted them- I’ll try to hope for the best.

You do realize that we had several pass plays called there and when they broke down Banks took off running as he has now been unleashed. It's why they say stats are for losers. We didn't call 53 run plays and 22 pass plays. Our Qb's are credited with 12 runs. It's likely 10 of those were pass plays that ended with them having to take off running. So your looking at a 43-32 split. Then in the 4th quarter with the big lead we went to being run dominant. That's the reality of it. Now back to your depressed state.

No doubt the volume of posts on this board lately would be about half as many if we were able to filter out the back-and-forth. A D v Win or Win v D thread (we'd probably start an argument over who is first billing in that match up) should be created. We'll test Steve's computer science degree to create a program that auto moves any post where 1 quotes the other to that thread.. You're welcome Steve for recommending more work for you.

you can block them but both bring some interesting opinions and info when they aren't trying to b*tch slap each other.

That's an exaggeration. It was 17-14 before Banks went out. He played overall, but the defense made big plays in the second half to win the game.

8 sacks by D and Hernderson (no;, 1 rush gainer in nation with 12;2 is held to 51 total yards on 10 or so carries).

He actually only carried 7 times. After that first run, he had 6 carries for 4 yards. Well done by the D.

McMillian came in for one play and threw a 3 yard pass to Mouney, who did the rest of the work. After that, all he did was hand off. Banks did his part, but the defense is why the game was a rout and not a close win.

Saw that, too. If he's injured and replaced what's his beef ?

If he's OK what's going on ? Held out as precaution ? Benched and replaced by the transfer ?
