Not sure I’ve ever seen a QB have such highs and lows from one series to the next. Unbelievable.

I have to wonder what team people were looking at that thought we might be 3-0 going into Ohio State

Im joining you getting out of wave club this program bunch of damned sad sacks .Banks still carry ball like a loaf of bread with 39 seconds short hopping ball shouldve known better to sit inside on sunny 90 degree day off watch the bad news bears do what they do best.....lose.

No joke, I have watched hours of college football this year, Banks is the worst QB I have seen. No vision and god forbid turnovers. At least hold onto the ball. The kid stinks. Sorry not sorry.
He has no idea how to run this offense. Coaches failed him as well. U simply have to try something different.

If Banks plays in another game, then Fritz and his staff aren't serious about the 2017 season. Banks can't see downfield, can't make decisions, can't run, and isn't an accurate passer, other than that, he's NFL material.
Tulane is the University of Louisiana

Might as well give Mcmillian some reps and get him up to speed. Banks has shellshocked syndrome and not sure that’s fixable.

The Lower Team won.
Got it D. A single game makes up a body of work. The body of work is what determines how good a coach is. Doesn't It make sense that each result has some impact in the overall opinion of the coach? You use the phrase "how good a coach is". That is a much different statement then simply saying he's a good or bad coach. I have said I didn't think he was bad. But "How good he is", IMO, continues to evolve with the program. The biggest difference in some opinions is how much to factor his previous stints in building up "how good he is." IMO, his previous 20+ years at lower levels was important in getting him the job. But "how good he is" now should be measured wirh a heavier weight on his results here as the. AAC. and FBS level is different. And my point since he has only 23, now 24 games, here at Tulane against FBS teams with just 7 wins is that this game (a toss-up game in his 3rd year) has a stronger weight (then say a loss to OSau next week}) in defining "how good he is."DfromCT wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 1:42 pmAnd I'll stand by that. Only a fool thinks that a single game determines how good of a coach (or player) someone is. Is Willie Fritz any different this afternoon than he was yesterday?netshorty wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 1:36 pmHe also said the outcome of this game has no bearing om how good a coach WF is. Yet everyone calling for WF head?GreenPuddleSplash wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 1:24 pm D predicted we would probably crap the bed and we are certainly doing just that
Shorty, you have no clue. NONE. If we were up 40 points would he be a better coach than yesterday? No.
This game does make a difference in the opinion of how good he is. Maybe it was semantics good /bad vs how good that differed us so greatly, but I don't believe many would disagree with this take,
This is starting to remind me of the "Buffet Bob" Toledo Era where each year the Army game would be the "turning point" for the season and then we would lose the Army game and the downward spiral would begin for the season.
