Wave beats the Wave Again as UAB wins 31-24
James is likely out for the season. He had a hand injury that required surgery. Fritz said he hasn't seen players play well with a club on their hands. Also I thought our other D-Line recruits were more talented than him and he was running third team. So we need to pray Johnson's leg feels better today.

It's going to be hot, but the humidity is going to be low, around 50%. For the most part we practice in hot and humid weather. The heat always takes a toll, but I don't think it should be much of a factor unless the players don't hydrate.

Turns out it's not a hydration issue for Dauphine. It's a stress issue . They tried to give him fluids but he didn't need them as per Guerry Smith on our Rivals site. Hopefully he has his emotions under control going forward and can give us even more pleasure in watching him.
As for the team and practicing in the heat and humidity unfortunately we caught a lot of cloudy, mild mornings the first couple of weeks of fall camp. Then we caught some rainy days that forced us inside at the Saints facility, the Dome and the Hertz center. So it sort of robbed us of that advantage we get from practicing here.

Spencer Brown running like Jim Brown.
UAB WR's are showing Tulane what good WR's look like.

Tulane completely getting @ss kicked by “lower level school”. Absolutely unacceptable in Year 3. Horrible gameplan much like FIU last year. Terrible

When a defender is pulling on Mooney’s shoulder while ball is in the air, that’s got to be called. So blatant

Any fool on a sofa in America that’s even watched a football game could get 200 yards against Tulanes D. And that was a catch.

I must say, my feed from FB is at least as good as what I've gotten from ESPN3 in the past.
