If you nail this one, we will have to give you the Black Cat Lacombe player of the month award.
Love it! Allen Black Cat was the man!GreenLantern wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:16 pm If you nail this one, we will have to give you the Black Cat Lacombe player of the month award.

Tulane 30-21. Hopefully we will be a better road team this year.

Not the same. Nicholls was harder than Tulsa was last season. Game with Tulsa was over by the end of the first quarter. And UAB doesn't have Butch Davis as their HC.
Tulane 34
UAB 23

Last year against FIU Banks was 5/16 for 36 yards and one interception. Those kind of numbers can't beat anybody. Let's hope Banks will be "on" against UAB on Saturday. Good performances by Banks and Dauphine should do the job against the Blazers this Saturday. We can be certain the defense will play tough.
You're right, what was I thinking? This is not EXACTLY the same. While their both in CUSA and they both finished last year at 8-5, Butch Davis did lead his team to 1 less conference win then Bill Clark. Oh, they do have different mascots too, though they both have some gold in their team colors. hmmm.RobertM320 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 8:39 amNot the same. Most importantly, last year we went in as 12.5 point favorites and this year we're just favored by 3.5. So I see where you're coming from. Not the same.
obviously Coastal caught UAB looking ahead to Tulane...with that said
UAB -- 24
Tulane -- 21

Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

I’ve got to follow TPS. He was exact for the last game. The guy is rolling 7s. Why wouldn’t you follow? But I’ll take any kind of win! 31-20

After reading the following quote from UAB head coach Bill Clark, I think we will destroy UAB, humiliate OSU the following week and Jonathan Banks has a chance for the Heisman. C'mon man. This guy must have studied under Lou Holtz.
Final Score:
Tulane 27 - UAB 10
Weather Saturday in BHam will be hot (93) with only 10% chance of rain. UAB rushes the ball a lot (285 yds per game-most in CUSA) and gets penalized a lot (14 times for 150 yards against Coastal Carolina). Our defense will continue to improve and I look for Tulane to get off to an early start and frustrate the Blazers into another penalty fest.UAB Head Coach Bill Clark wrote:This Banks guy, I mean, if he's not up for the Heisman, he probably should be. This guy, he's a runner, thrower. People don't tackle this guy. He's really electrifying. He's one of those guys I'm watching all summer going, 'This guy's unbelievable.' He's going to play somewhere at the next level, Whether it's at quarterback or receiver, or whatever they do. I think he can play quarterback. He's got a cannon for an arm, strong, good in the pocket. Their O-line is good.
Final Score:
Tulane 27 - UAB 10
