Freddie Canteen, a WR , is transferring in and will be eligible immediately. He went to Michigan and transferred to ND. He could have two years of eligibility. He's had injury issues. He's reportedly finally healthy. This could be a really good pick up.

Hopefully Fritz can get him involved. He has 7 receptions in 3 starts over 3 years. Was rated a 4 star out of HS.

Welcome aboard Freddy “feet” Canteen. He has great foot speed but was not able to find playing time at Michigan or Notre Dame. Michigan was excited for him when they recruited him and his foot speed and agility was off the charts, but it never translated to d1 completion. Hopefully we can utilize him.

Has everyone seen the new change on transfers for P5s? This could have a chilling effect on transfers in the future.

Basically, once a player has informed the P5 of their intent to transfer, the P5 is not required to give them their scholarship back the next academic year if they decide to not transfer.

I found Canteen's lone TD catch. It's at 8:15 mark of this video. OSU was blowing Michigan out but still impressive for a freshman to see the field in such a big game. Solid focus making the catch and getting his foot in.

From what I read, it had as much to do with injuries as it did with ability.

A really nice add, well done WF.

SWIDT?

AJC: what does SWIDT mean?

Encalade has some speed, Mooney has sure hands and can go over the middle, but Clewis seemed pretty slow footed. Another speedster (especially if he can quickly develop a report with Banks) will do wonders for this offense.

See What I Did There? (The "Nice catch" was a double-entendre.)

I guess it was kind of lame of me to brag about it there.
