That's part of the reason for the excitement but the main reason is he has proved over a period of time to be a good coach. If we had hired the pitching coach from Stetson that a few people posted about people would have been happy too. We don't want to be insular. We did that and it didn't work. Just hire good coaches. If they have a Tulane connection all the better.
