Is it just me or can anyone else hear it in Graf's voice:
"Snakebit."
"Why can't we score with the bases loaded?"
"The little things..."
"Overruns the bag...."
"Can't get it over..."
etc., etc., etc.??

It's ............. coaching. And I'm to tell all that I regret this staff is not getting it done...big time.

I mentioned to a friend that Tulane had not had 2 losing seasons in a row since '63-'64 and he couldn't believe that. That's how good we were in 1 doggone sport. And now....................................

Tough back to back losing seasons with enough talent to win. I do believe coaching has been part of the problem. We are not fundamentally sound. Especially running the bases. There has been many a game where baserunning has cost us. And it has not yet been corrected and here we are 54 games into the season. And it’s usually not aggressive baserunning errors it’s mental lapses. We had 3 today. Thrown out at 3rd standing up, over sliding 2nd on a double and another runner picked off at 1st. We also had a runner called out on an appeal for not touching 1st on an apparent double. This is part of why we keep losing by one run.

Lose 3-2 drop to 24-31 9-14 in AAC.
Same old story. Mistakes and bullpen. Had a 2-1 lead until the 8th. UCF going for sweep tomorrow.

No doubt a tough day at the ballpark. Seemed like we had both won but as usual found ways to blow it. Roper and Johnson were really good. Roper had to be taken out early b/c of yesterday's cancellation . The starting pitching should be good but all the rest of the problems probably won't make it stand up.

4 straight one run losses.

was there Friday game one ucf batter reaches base on a pb strike 3 which leads to game tying 2 run homer xtra innings runner called out on a play where he goes to 3rd base standing up ( stiil can't get over that one). Game 2 Trent Johnson dominates game only to have bullpen fail. Saturday waited all day for rainout.Looking forward to attending a few home games hopefully Tulane will play a game in Florida as well. Hope somehow they can make tourney interesting.

I only went to 1 game; 1 too many. I’m at the point I don’t even miss going. Maybe in a few years things may turnaround and get fans excited again.
