Not really. I mean I'm sad for the players but I had forgotten that the hockey team even existed.

Just go buy and fix up the Municipal Auditorium. New Orleans is just letting it wither away. Could probably get it dirt cheap. Brass used to play there many moons ago.

Sad, sad day. I played freshman year. Love those jerseys!

Gotta think Tulane could earn a lot of goodwill/publicity running the only ice rink in NOLA.

That is a shame. It seems that as long as it's been around there has to be a former member or members that could buy one of these old , abandoned warehouses and convert it. Also they have a rink in Baton Rouge. Not convenient or ideal but it sure seems to beat the alternative.

I'm a founding member of the Tulane Hockey Club. Our first year we played at a rink in a mall in Metairie. When that closed, we all pitched in and helped build a rink in an old warehouse. This was way back in the early 80's.

Build a combo Ice Hockey / Rugby Field on the property on the Jeff - Orleans parish line...I don't see the issue

AJ....I came up with the solution and did not charge Tulane one penny to solve the problem....I will allow someone else to write the check..... solving problems for Tulane is big business for many consulting companies, I did it for free

It's a great sport, and all of the NE kids on campus would go. It would get better attendance than ANY SPORT NOT NAMED FOOTBALL OR BASKETBALL.

Tulane just doesn't see the opportunities for growth that are very obvious one in the eyes of anyone else..
