Good win. Johnson steps in and does well for the second outing in a row. Time for him to be a starter. His final numbers won't look good but he deserved a better fate. Phantom hit by pitch call and then a dropped fly ball by a Sepcich who came in a s a defensive replacement. Looked like it was going to be an epic collapse but Pellerin came in and finally finished it off. Thank goodness.

Nice hitting by Spoon, Jensen, Mathews and Hoese.

RPI climbs to 70. Our SOS is #15.

There are now 10 more games left in the regular season. Tulane MUST WIN the next two conference series at home. There is still a chance (mathematically) that they could finish above .500 for the year.

But let's not kid ourselves. The only way that Tulane goes to the NCAA championship is to win the AAC tournament.

NIce win last night in H'burg. ROLL GREEN WAVE!!!!

I agree. We’ll have to win at least 9 of 10 then get to the AAC finals to have an At Large shot. Once again the slow start to the season killed us. USM has been living off their opening weekend sweep of Miss St. they really didn’t play a good schedule. We played a much tougher schedule. Not surprised we won last night. Need at least 2 of 3 vs ECU. If we lose this series the season is over for all practical purposes. The only question that remains will be if we’ll have our second straight losing season.
