Just a poor overall performance. If this team was going to make a miraculous late season run they needed to win this one. Didn't come close.

We’ve won 4 road games all year in 18 tries. That’s not going to do it.

Damn. Didn’t realize the game was so early today. Had planned to listen while working on the boat. Sucks we lost again...

The Good News: 4 players hitting over .300 this late in the season.
The Bad News: Only 4 pitchers with ERA's less than 5.00; only 2 with ERA's less than 6.00.

Not that it matters but interesting that despite losing the series our RPI jumped 18 spots to #82. The conference is up to #3 in RPI.

Houston winning probably helps as well. It’s too bad that we are a drag on the conference. Only Memphis and Tulane currently have losing records. Had we just took care of midweek games we’d probably be a Top 30 RPI.
Crazy to think Southeastern is at #129 30-17 record. They owns us.

Actually the only two real drags on the conference at this point are Memphis and Cincy. Our RPI is about 50 better than Cincy and around a hundred better than Memphis.
