Think about how HOSTILE it would get around here with an 8-16 AAC record or worse!

Our record in the AAC is worse than that in the sports that really matter. Yes, Tulane has a strong baseball following. But Football drives the bus, and our record in the AAC is much worse than 8-16. Put things in perspective. Baseball has suffered under TD's hire, Jewett, no doubt. But football is still in the process of turning it around, and until they string together a few seasons where we compete for the league championship, that should be a MUCH bigger measuring stick than baseball. Football success is 1000000 times more important than baseball.
That being said, let's finish the sweep of Cinci this afternoon.

Oh the record will be bad. Apathy has set in with the fans as the first two games were sparsely attended. Fans that were there spent more time visiting with the few that were there than paying attention to the games. Also, no game threads on the two major Tulane fan boards the last two nights.
