While Laffy doesn't have the glitzy record of ULM they are still a good defensive team. Their performance against LSU was impressive although they have certainly been, to say the least, an up and down team. Hopefully we get this game under our belts before moving on to bigger challenges such as USM and LSU.

They appear to be a good pitching ,light hitting team at this point.

ULALA to date:

Overall 6-9
PCT .400
Conf 0-0
PCT .000
Streak L2
Home 4-4
Away 1-3
Neutral 1-2

Three of their road loses are to Miss. State, Vandy and Kentucky (Shriner's Classic), all very good teams. But, as 'Nut has pointed out, last weekend playing at home they lost their series to So. Alabama.

About time for the ULaLa trolls to show up... particularly if we don’t have our best game.

True, even though they claim to “like” Tulane, at lease CajunTroll (Cajunfanatico) makes such a claim and Flasher (exflash) alleges his mother went to Tulane about a 100 years ago, they have shown very little interest in Tulane athletics of late, even after our best football recruiting class in about 15 or even 20 years? And, it seems even though they “like” Tulane, they only post on this forum during bad times for the Wave? Could it be we have heard so little from the ULALA Trolls because the “Cajun Knute Rockne,” Mark Hudspeth, was fired this season and ULALA’s football recruiting class is ranked 124? https://247sports.com/Season/2018-Footb ... amRankings

And, after losing to "mighty" Texas-Arlington in the "mighty" Sunbelt basketball tournament last week, they truly expect to get blown-out by LSWho @ B. R. tomorrow night?

Oh well, if the Wave has a bad mid-week game tonight I am sure CajunTroll and Flasher will crawl out from under the rocks they live under to again post our forum.

I can’t take much more of this. Jewwit needs to figure this out or go. I’m not sure I care anymore either way.

Wave loses a tough one in 11, 5-2. Infield let us down. Ben White showed he belongs back in the rotation. Bates had his usual rough start but limited the actual damage to keep us in it. Bjorngjeld was pitching well till we started trying to use him in these closing type of situations.

Sad how we have digressed in baseball. Bring back Jones, or at least a Jones protege.

Matt Riser is still the head baseball coach in Hammond.
