‘Nut, you’ll be correct if any of those clowns that “officiated” in Tulsa happen to be in Houston.golfnut69 wrote:UH by 18....they will shoot 55 foul shots and TU will finish with 4 playersWave755 wrote:Line Houston 14 pts. > Wave.

No energy today. Wave looks tired. Frazier playing hurt. Only guy scoring at that.GreenLantern wrote:Anyone enjoying this game?
Getting out rebounded by more than 2 to 1.tpstulane wrote:No energy today. Wave looks tired. Frazier playing hurt. Only guy scoring at that.GreenLantern wrote:Anyone enjoying this game?
Misleading stat. We’ve shot terrible so that’s why we’ve been out rebounded so far. They haven’t missed much.Houma de Wave wrote:Getting out rebounded by more than 2 to 1.tpstulane wrote:No energy today. Wave looks tired. Frazier playing hurt. H-Town bill's itself as the "Bayou City"..."Buffalo Bayou" flows close to downtown...it actually looks more like the drainage canal on Vet's Blvd in MetryHouma de Wave wrote:Announcers just said “from the bayou city in Houston.” Bayou City?
I believe Space city is official nickname but bayou city is nearly as popular. If you watched any hurricane Harvey coverage you'd probably figure out why the city has that nickname.Houma de Wave wrote:Announcers just said “from the bayou city in Houston.” Bayou City?
Not misleading at all 22-10 overall... 6-0 offensive... So they're getting nearly as many of their misses as we are.tpstulane wrote:Misleading stat. Right on. We’re one and done. We need bigs that can mix it up and follow up. Recruit! Recruit! Recruit! Or get Koka and Ajang to grow up NOW!netshorty wrote:Not misleading at all 22-10 overall... 6-0 offensive... Space City started being used in the mid 1970's.... actually Johnson Space Center / Mission Control is not located in Houston, it is in Clear Lake about 40 miles south of Houston on the way to Galveston using I-45... I use to live in Clear Lake beginning in 1974 before moving to The Woodlands..my townhome looked directly at "Mission Control"...if you ever get to Houston, go to the Space Center, you will not be disappointednetshorty wrote:I believe Space city is official nickname but bayou city is nearly as popular. On the hoops side of this game, no other word needed than pathetic.
The battle for 10th place.GreenLantern wrote:Hard game to watch. Won't get easier on Wednesday.
Actually, it might get a little easier. I got the schedule confused. ECU comes to Devlin on Wednesday.
Sorry but these are college players and that is part of his job description. Shades of Toledo there.tpstulane wrote:Guerry Smith:

Yes. Just looking at Frazier’s facial expressions you could see the pain he’s playing in. Bruised chest or broken rib are extremely painful. We had no energy. No legs which affected our shooting. The Tulsa loss carried right over into this game. I’d give the team off Monday and Tuesday to get rested for Wednesday.swampnik wrote:Lethargic play and Frazier et Embo dealing wih pain issues = blowout loss.
