Football Season 2018 is underway and the athletic department is offering a number of options for current season ticket holders to get better seats at the same (or reduced) price as last year. It appears the athletic department has heard the feedback from frustrated previous season ticket holders such as ShowMe who opted to purchase tickets on a game-by-game basis.

We've just enjoyed our best recruiting season and I hope that we fill Yulman this year.

As a way to say thank you for your continued support of Green Wave Athletics, we would like to announce a few ticketing changes for the upcoming season. You will find that no matter where your season tickets were located in 2017, these modifications will benefit you for the 2018 football season.

In addition to lower ticket prices, you will also notice a change in our donation requirements for the 2018 football season. These changes were designed so that every ticket holder can take advantage of benefits as they see fit. Below are the four categories and the benefits that will take place for each group:
  • Current Westfeldt Terrace and Glazer Family Club Season Ticket Holders
One-year opportunity to add additional Westfeldt Terrace seats for the 2018 season without making an additional donation on your added seats (*donation for your original seats will still be required).
  • Current Lower Bowl Season Ticket Holders in donation sections
One-year opportunity to upgrade to the Westfeldt Terrace without increasing your donation (*donation for your original seats will still be required). All seating changes will be allocated using your Green Wave Club priority point ranking and will be allocated in the weeks following the renewal deadline.
  • Current Lower Bowl Season Ticket Holders in non-donation sections
One-year opportunity to upgrade to the lower west and east sideline without making a donation. All seating changes will be allocated in the weeks following the renewal deadline.
  • First Time Season Ticket Holder
Donation waived for the 2018 season as a risk free trial for seats in the lower bowl (excludes Glazer Family Club / Westfeldt Terrace will require the full donation)

Yes. Good deal. I just renewed today. I was told game day ticket prices will vary based on the opponent so you will definitely be rewarded if you have season tickets. The goal is to fill Yulman so lower prices should be helpful there.

the increase in saints tickets is to provide Tom the revenue to pay the State of Louisiana back the 28 million the State loaned him so he could purchase the team...ole Tom was just a little short in the wallet at the time..just an FYI...The State of Lousiana wanted to purchase the Saints and manage them in the same manner as the Green Bay Packers...the NFL rejected that idea after reviewing how the State itself was managed !!..So Tommy boy was a buyer of last resort who "promised" never to move his old home town team

Well. That's funny. Cuz without Arnie falling on the sword after Katrina, Benson would have the Saints in San Antonio.
