That's the first thing that went through my mind, too. But I don't mind the Athletics Dept from trying to keep things interesting and creating more marketing revenue. If we go 3-0 in these games, we should keep wearing them! Make a white version, too!ajcalhoun wrote:I never thought I'd see Tulane wearing Purple and Gold.
But lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. It's time for a conference road win.

I think they look good. Just nice to see the athletic department trying to do things to spark interest. The only change i would have made was not linking the purple and gold together on the collar and the shoulders. Should have interspersed green between the two so as not to have it stand out like that.

Tulane needs UNI's with a St Charles Ave Steetcar...

Make it gold and not that school bus yellow that that team upriver wear. They may say gold but it’s really yellow. They got rid of the crayons major department

We have them on our "normal" uni's. It's a shade darker on the back of the uniform, kind of like a watermark on letterhead paper. It's more the norm than the exception to have unique things (like the streetcar) on NCAA uniforms these days. But I can say from experience the same looks ugly on corporate golf shirts for trade show and conference vendors!golfnut69 wrote:Tulane needs UNI's with a St Charles Ave Steetcar...
