Daniels and Sehic step up:

http://www.theadvocate.com/new_orleans/ ... 4cea8.html

The game is at 5 on ESPNews. Our win over them led to a three game losing streak for them. They stopped it with a win against Wichita St. at Wichita. They'll be confident and looking for revenge. This will be an interesting game.

Line opens SMU 12.5 pts. > Tulane, O/U 142.

On other thing of note. SMU didn’t have their starting center last time we played in NOLA. He stayed home because of the flu. He’s recovered since that game.

The flip side is they lost Jarrey Foster 5 minutes into the WSU game. He sprained a knee. He's their second leading scorer and leading rebounder. They had another back up player already out with an injury so they were shorthanded. Seems like they had to use a lot of emotion to win that one. Hopefully it will be hard for them to get the juices flowing again.

12.5 points seems like a lot. I hope it is way overblown. Again, we have to earn the respect.

Great opportunity for us: Houston just beat Wichita State after their loss to us; a second win against SMU will add to our RPI significantly.

A must win....

16-7 Tulane at the break. Coach Dunleavy's conditioning program is proving valuable.

I like it.

Sloppy passing and TO’s costly.

Got off to that sizzling start which helped us make it through the sloppy middle part when SMU started pressing us. Nice to see us with Frazier on Milton. Shutting him down. It's also nice to see us being more aggressive against the zone. Still very much in it down 30-27 at the half.

the "officiating" is suspect at best...out of position and making calls as to what they think happened, but not what really happened...they need to stop being spectators and start being Officials

Frazier is really in Milton's head.

Good effort, but in the end, we couldn’t shake Shake.

These announcers will probably be spending the night with Shake.

Too many TO's, too little Reynolds.

terrible passing especially in the last 10 minutes of the game...SMU went "man", and Tulane, in a sense, folded

Had our chances but didn't cash in. Too many unforced turnovers and missed some easy shots in the second half. Score looked worse b/c we had to foul at the end. Paul is back to being a non factor after he had a god three game stretch a little while back. Cornish can always be counted on for his sloppy TO's. Disappointing to blow a chance to get a signature win.

How did Milton go from 2 points in 1st half to 18 in 2nd? Did CMD tell Melvin to back off Shake?

Not your typical great SMU team plus injuries. The Wave missed a golden opportunity to take advantage of that yesterday and fall back to the pack.

Most of the credit goes to Milton himself.

It's very obvious that MD has been paying closer attention to defense at practice. I thought that was our best defensive performance this season considering the opponent. I've watched SMU several times this year. They have a knack for hitting tough shots. They made some against really good defense. They're really tough at home. But the progression in a year has been remarkable. We need a tough, mean big and a point guard . Ray is a 2. The games are fun to watch and people are taking notice.

Milton was even missing layups in the first half. Once he found his range the game changed to their favor.

We should just recruit nothing but 3-point shooters since that is pretty much what we always chuck up.
