But.... he's only number 4 in the AAC.... does that mean Coach O would be behind head coach of Navy, Tulsa, and USF?

I would think so, yes. Look at what all three of those coaches have done in tough places to coach. Look at what Coach O has done at places with all the "extras" (ie P5). I'd bet the Tulsa coach and Scott Frost at USF accept P5 offers about the the time LSU fires Coach O. I think the Navy coach might be there as a lifer, but others say he's waiting for the right "Power" job opportunity.

Thanks for the link Golf. Something that has been discussed ad nauseam on the forums is mentioned in the article.

"So how long can the 57-year-old continue?"

He points to the Fitbit fitness tracker on his wrist.

“I’m an empty nester right now,” Fritz said. “If you watch me go out and coach in practice, I put about nine miles in today [six at practice, and three more at his post-practice workout].”

Dedicated artists are never truly finished creating.

“I really enjoy it,” Fritz said. “I’ve got a passion for it. If I didn’t, I’d quit. I see myself going at least another 10 years. I’d be surprised if I didn’t go that long.”

Besides, he’s got work to do. His office could use a painting of a Tulane trophy.

Reminds me of what Bennie Ellender could have been here had he been able to fulfill his 10 year contract.

Who wouldn't stay at Navy? Not only do you get paid by Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman & General Dynamics - You can recruit 85 kids per class.
I wouldn't count on Bebe going anywhere too soon.
Why isn't Coach Fritz over in Houston right now recruiting from the flotsam and jetsam of the UH program?

UH is the guest of the University of Texas @ Austin, and will be for as long as it takes to get them back to Houston with zero issues
