Before folks get their panties bunched, this is being posted in "American Athletic Conference Schools." It will show up in active topics for a little while.

UCF is putting a hurting on Memphis. After trailing early, the Knights are up 40-7 with 4 minutes remaining. The announcers, a little gaudy, IMHO, are gushing over Scott Frost as the best coach in the conference whom "will have an opportunity to run the table every year with this offense and the league they play in." From a recruiting standpoint, according to these announcers, Frost is in one of the best places in the country to recruit, and runs an offense that players will love to play in. "It doesn't look like Miami or Florida State's offense, it's much more wide open and fun to watch, fun to play in. Frost should be able to successfully compete with the power conference members trying to come into Florida and steal recruits."

Right now they clearly look the best team in the conference.

If not USF. Both are pretty damned good. Memphis was moving the ball at will through the first quarter against UCF, but trailing 9-7 with first and goal threw a pick. I turned it back on when the game was essentially over, listening to the announcers gush over Scott Frost.
