UConn, Temple, Cincy and Tulsa get bids (Tulsa goes against Michigan in a play-in game, with the winner to face Notre Dame).

This bodes well for the conference as it sends a healthy number of teams to the tournament, and its best team isn't even there (SMU).

True in more ways than one. Certainly the payouts are larger and then by helping w/our recruiting it helps leads us to winning which draws more fans and corporate sponsors.
