Tulsa has got to have the worst defense I have ever seen. They have ZERO chance of tackling anyone one-on-one and aren't much better three-on-one. Their DBs can't cover worth a shit. The defensive coordinator doesn't help them out either. On that opening drive of the second half by VA-Tech, Tulsa did manage to get VA-Tech in a third and 7. Instead of helping his DBs out by trying to get some pressure on the QB, the DC only rushed 3. The VA-Tech QB had all day, and killed the Tulsa defensive backfield.

Independence Bowl Final: Virginia Tech 55, Tulsa 52. So, the AAC "drought" continues. :afraid:

Frank Beamer went out a winner tonight but with Virginia Tech "on the ropes" in a very messy game to a Tulsa team the Wave should have beaten this year at Yulman.

So far, Houston looking really good and dominant over Florida State, 21-3 with just over 3 mins. to play in first half.

Now halftime, 21-3. Herman is a really good coach. Hope they don't choke in the 2nd half.

Done deal. Houston finishes at 13-1 in Herman's first season. 38-24 over the once mighty FSU Semiholes in the Peach Bowl.

Wish the conference had done better but it's nice to finish w/a bang.
