Although they play an incredible OOC schedule, the lack of competition in the AAC hurts UConn. As soon as Notre Dame made it to the Final Four most Huskies fans feared them. They knew Muffie McGraw and her crew wouldn't be at all intimidated playing UConn. They've beaten UConn a few times in the semi-finals (but never in a championship game.) Congrats to the Irish, who won despite losing 4 players in their rotation to season-ending knee injuries.
