Cajun Troll & Flasher, did you notice that after losing its weekend series to “mighty ‘belt competitor” UA-Little Rock and presently sporting only a lowly 12-8 record, the Cajuns have now fallen completely out of the D-1 top 25 poll? :o http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/baseball/d1 And so, in the vernacular of ‘da bayou (pronounced “by-o”), it appears ‘dem Cajuns have now ‘dun sprung a big leak in ‘dair pirogue. And, plenty of ‘dem seats now available at ‘dat Tigue, too. :winkkiss:

And uh-oh, tomorrow 'dem Cajuns play at ‘dat Zephyr Field for ‘dat LSU Wally Pontiff classic. :headstand: :megagrin: :lolgreen:

Well---first for the attendance issue---want to compare??? now the season has been not what we hoped for but when we get the injured back and the bats come around along with our great pitching, we will be OK---uncharacteristic of Cajun baseball, the errors have been horrible, but watch for the Louisiana tradition at the end of the season!!!

Dude, "Roll Wave" has been cheered for Tulane athletic teams since well before any of us were born. Likely 50 years before you were born. It wasn't copied from another school, it was a logical progression following the nick name "Green Wave" was given to Tulane by a sports reporter a long, long time ago. At that time, Tulane was a NATIONAL power. Something U-La-Laf has never been.

Johnny Come Lately U-La-Laf with the "Geaux Cajuns" chants may be clever, but we've got a whole lot more time-tested tradition with our "Roll Wave."

Indeed, "Roll GreenWave" is the name of our fight song that was composed in the 30s if not before. The ULL fixation on Tulane is nutty.

On "wave roll wave" or roll green wave" I can understand------but just witness an Alabama KO and "CAJUN---VERY EFFECTIVE!!!!

A ULL fan telling us that "roll wave" isn't original? Yes, that's a fixation. And yes, the ULL fan has long had a fixation on Tulane. If you don't see it, you have your head in the sand.

Well---why not have a fixation if you are a UL fan and our chief recruiting opponents are Tulane and the others we have a fixation on---S Miss, LTUR, Rice, Houston, ARk ST, USA, Memphis and more are the schools that offer practically the same kids every year! Of course the happenings good and bad at all these schools effect a recruits choice!!
