Your preference for right wing politics has nothing to do with anything. Poll ULL faculty on "progressive" social issues or fiscal issues and see how they stand up.
ULL is in a league with its institutional peers (except for a high research school like Ga State and perhaps Texas State). All do a fine job fulfilling their defined mission.
