Miles 15 million dollar buy out no problem for boosters even though LSU broke as a university?
We must admit, they are indeed serious about winning.
LSU - Rich football program, poor university.

If only people at Tulane had an understanding that the two things are tied together, and a rich football program positively impacts the school's finances beyond the few million they are already contributing.
JJ prior to SC coming in 1998 Tulane always had donors for coaching buyouts. In fact, many thought Tulane pulled the plug too quick many times. Nowadays those donors are not in the fold.

They just aren't evenly distributed, to paraphrase a saying.tpstulane wrote:JJ prior to SC coming in 1998 Tulane always had donors for coaching buyouts. Exactly what happened. They had no one better than Les that they could attract to the job. Once Jimbo said no Alleva looked like a fool with all of this stuff and he had to backtrack. Alleva is the one on the hot seat IMO.
Besides for media purposes they had to try to upstage CJ's firing this week. Lol

And, just wait and see what happens if Miles loses LSU's bowl game, and the recriminations will then really start flying. A fun clown show to watch, so stay tuned!tpstulane wrote:BINGO!!!!Wave755 wrote:Did Jimbo Fisher say no, is that what really happened?

CBSSports confirms the obvious, Fisher told FSU on Saturday he was staying and Joe Alleva is an idiot.
