Good football is worth a lot of money to a smart university.

Nothing.

You know what else = nothing? The amount of $ JJ donates to Tulane so that Tulane can offer a coach $8 million a year.

You know what else = nothing? The amount of fan in JJ.

I pity the fool who posts this often on a Tulane fan board without actually caring or supporting for Tulane.

I am not sure, but it would be one hell of a Rose Bowl if Michigan and Stanford played.

I am already picking Michigan to go undefeated next season. Their schedule sets up perfectly before they play Michigan State at home in week 7. There biggest road test are against Penn State and Minnesota and they end the season at home vs. Ohio State.

That would be quite an impressive turn around in year one. I haven't studied the schedule, but can't imagine him doing it his first year. 10-2 would get him coach of the year in the B1G.

Jim Harbaugh just left the Detroit Airport wearing a Michigan hat. Smiled and waved.

Only difference is that Michigan will get their man and Cowen/Dickson screwed up yet another opportunity for which they will not suffer any consequences or accountability and they will keep having parades in their honor and plaques dedicated commemorating their tenure.

It really would not be too much for literal pitchforks and for Cowen and Dickson to be tarred and feathered for what they've done to Tulane University.

I'd be willing to bet donations alone increase by $35M in the next year, making this contract basically free to the university.
