If true, how is this going to hurt Tulane?

Maybe stealing recruits.

Then again we will be in a better conference than them.

Isn't that CJ cousin?

Assuming we are both after the same kid only time will tell.
La Tech is moving into CUSA but we are moving into the BE. So that gives us a slight advantage.
I'm sure La Tech has less hurdles to getting and keeping kids in. Plus they are coming off of a great year.
Ruston vs New Orleans big advantage Tulane.

I'm pretty sure they added Juluke to get in the New Orleans recruiting market. They are seeing what CJ is doing in New Orleans, and would like a piece of this action.

Also whiffing on that bowl bid probably gives Tulane another advantage.

Tulane has better education. City, conference, tradition(really does matter), proximity to home, and playing time.

I don't think it would hurt us too bad, but I'd be happier if Juluke turns them down.

Eh, not gonna hurt us. Not too many guys from down here wanna go to Ruston. Plus, Juluke is gonna probably wind up being a head coach somewhere else in a couple of years.
I don't yell. I don't scream. I don't argue. I just hit 'em over the head with a bottle.

LA Tech: Despite a report on another site, Nola.com has confirmed that Edna Karr HS head coach Jabarr Jaluke has not been offered a job at this point by Skip Holtz. CoachingSearch.com first reported on Wednesday evening that Holtz had interest in Jaluke, who according to the Nola.com report, has indeed discussed a position with Holtz.

Channel 4 just reported that Jabar Juluke, Head coach at Karr, accepted an assist coaching position with La. Tech. Just wondering if he held off to see if co-def cord Summral would leave the staff before he accepted La. tech's offer......

Not too worried. If we are good 90% of the NOLA kids will choose us over them. Ruston sucks.
