The crowds at Tracey’s and Parasol’s suggest there is plenty of room for both of them on Third Street. But in the neighborhood battle for roast beef po-boy dominance, Parasol’s comes out on top by living up to its legend.

If you want great food, good service and real Irish Channel people Parasol's is the place for you. If you want average food, really, really, bad service, a lot of tatood freaks and channel wannabe's then the other place is for you.
Tulane didn't have a stadium issue it had a program and facilities issues. To the new President- we want a new AD , a football facility and an IPF. We want top 25 programs in football and basketball the only two sports that count.
"Brett Anderson’s take: Tracey’s is a popular neighborhood watering hole, and understandably so, particularly for sports fans, but its roast beef po-boys do not live up to neighborhood legend."
What???? The Tracy's Po-boy IS the neighborhood legend. It's his staff, his recipe, his expertise.
Besides Tracy's is a longer supporter of Tulane and owner Jeff is a baseball season ticket holder
(not that I'm biased or anything!)

Just had Tracey's Roast Beef poboy on Monday... was not impressed at all. And they were out of ALOT of their menu options, and we had to clean our own table. I wouldn't go back to eat.
