Re: 30,000

I couldn't disagree more about the recruiting. Do y'all even watch the games or do you just read Rivals and 247sports all day? I watched both games twice. I feel certain that we are more talented than both of the teams we played. Younger yes, but we had more talent out there and just as much speed....

Re: 30,000

Our facilities are never going to be BSC quality. We don't have the revenue or the donor base. We have to make do with less. But what we have now is not stopping us from winning in the AAC. No. We don't have to make do with less. That's an absolute canard and a typical excuse from the admin. That's...

Only winning makes you relevant. Fact's: We only raised $50 million from mostly academic donor's for a $70 million goal We don't get BCS type TV money We will generate more revenue with this stadium We will continue to build facilities at the pace for which new money can be raised by donors and the ...

Re: Being there vs. on television

The "don't criticize people for staying in the A/C" line rings incredibly hollow since we spent a decade criticizing people who weren't in their seats due to a sterile atmosphere. You can't have it both ways. If you weren't there STFU. The game should have never been scheduled for daytime...

Re: Does CJ practice his team at the new stadium?

Great question. I asked if we practiced during the week at 3pm to simulate the actual game time conditions. Here's the answer I got: "We couldn't because it would have impacted too many players in the classroom, we try to practice at 7am to avoid classroom conflicts".

"Wish in one hand, $hit in the other. See which one gets filled first." We are going in the right direction for the first time in many years. Is it enough, no. It's never enough. Is it why we lost to Tulsa? Of course not. If we lose to SELA will it be because of facilities? Of course not....

Some of y'all have gone off the rails. The stadium is good enough for right now. That's my belief after attending the 1st game. It seems like some of you just want to build a huge stadium just for the hell of it. The atmosphere was 1000x better than the Superdome. It just was, you can't deny that i...

Re: Fall baseball (2014)

You can tell much more about your team when you play someone else. I'm ok with that. I would have preferred playing USM instead of UNO. USM plays fall games. When I played in 1978 we played fall games against UNO all the time. Don't know if they made a rule to impact that over the years. Intra-squad...

I don't think I have ever attended a sporting event that allowed you to purchase more than two beers, though I am sure they exist. The thing about that is who's going to buy 3 or 4 beers for themselves? Common sense will tell you it's going to get hot in 2-5 mins after purchase. Dumb rule. Just goi...

I, for one, refuse to bash anyone who actually attended on Saturday. If you're willing to pay money to endure five hours of extreme heat and humidity for Tulane football at this point, I commend you! My question is, how was the parking/shuttle situation? It was good. I had a parking pass as a backu...
