There is a lot of late opportunity in portal for tams that have starting positions open KJ Jefferson just entered the portal yesterday. He's been both an Outback Bowl and Liberty Bowl MVP. Almost zero shot he comes to Tulane but he is from MS. Dangling an easy road to the CFP should work on somebody.

I trust in Sumrall. But he may take a season to adjust in recruiting at a higher level. It’s his first time moving schools as a head coach, I’m sure there will be a learning curve.

Go 11-1 and play in the conference championship and have a gut-wrenching offseason where it all bad news and no one even cares about the Bowl game.

Seems like we finally got our act together to coincide with conference realignment. A couple 10+ win years out of Sumrall and we should be easily in the ACC (or Big12 if ACC steals some Big12 teams)
