Re: How Many Regular Season Games Will Tulane Win?

5-7 ....Nicholls, Tulsa, SMU, Cincy, ECU....with less than 6 point loses to USF, Houston, Navy and UAB I believe golfnut has the only perfect record so far. His early season pick was Tulane over Cincinnati followed by a win over SMUgh. If his trend continues we will be 4-3 and on our way to a bowl ...

Re: How Many Regular Season Games Will Tulane Win?

I think after a slow start, we scratch and claw our way to 7 wins. Nicholls, Cincinnati, SMU, Tulsa, ECU (why do tickets start at $50 for this game?) Houston and Navy. A hot Green Wave squad beats golfnut's Texas Tech squad in the Armed Forces Bowl. Tanner Lee spends the season on a practice squad,...

Re: Cincy Game thread

This is Cincinnati's Homecoming game. We haven't played well on the road for decades, and in general haven't played well on the road under Fritz. But it seems like one game every year they really surprise us. Let's hope this is the week the team puts it together in a great road effort, and come home...

Re: Line Opens Cincinnati 7.5 pts. > Tulane

Cincy playing for a bowl bid this weekend. I would think we’ll get their best. If we are going to be a bowl team we need to win this type of game. I would think their bigger incentive is its homecoming weekend. I mean, they only need to go 1-6 in their last 7 to make a bowl .I hardly see a sense of...

Re: Seat Licenses/Priority Seating Charge

I cannot see any way in hell that this results in more ticket sales, and the revenue generated will be minimal in comparison to the loss of more fans. Tulane (HEAR THIS TROY) needs to do everything it can to build the fan base, not everything it can to squeeze a FEW more dollars out of the die hards...

I don't disagree, but man it's hard to say what any team's recruiting will look like 10 years from now.

Re: SI's take on the triple option

One can also do the same with the short passing game which we employed successfully against Memphis along with our running game. Very successful combo. I believe I posted the same thing about half a dozen times in the Wake Forest thread in August. When a scramble turns into a rushing play, that mea...

Re: SI's take on the triple option

The Sooners came in with one of the nation's fastest and most potent offenses, directed by a rising star coach in Lincoln Riley, whose brain has been picked relentlessly by NFL scouts after producing a Heisman Trophy winner and a College Football Playoff berth in his first year in charge. But it wa...

Since Ohio U rushed for 234 yards against this outfit, if I were WF I am telling Bradwell, Dauphine and Huderson to not forget to bring their track shoes for this second trip to Ohio. And "Nut, I undrstand why you might be a bit cranky this season considering the play of your beloved UTSA Road...

Re: Memphis GameDay Thread

First 20 plays: `14 rushing plays and 6 pass plays. After Memphis scored in 10 seconds we ran the ball and kept their offense off the field.

A great win, celebrate it, rather than tell us what we watched.

Or get back on your meds.

 I think we took a timeout on the play that was reviewed and we only had one left, according to the announcers. Banks is playing BY FAR his best game of the year. He's been very accurate with his throws. The one that Mooney dropped in traffic was as accurate as possible, and it looked like Moon...

Nice run on 4th down. Not to be a downer, but how crappy is Memphis defense? Whatever it takes to win!!! Don’t get sloppy! As I said all week, we can run all day on Memphis, and make them stop the run, which will open up the passing game. LOL. We came out balanced which set the tone. We were finall...

Re: Memphis GameDay Thread

Who would have guessed? Control the ball, win time of possession, and keep the explosive Memphis offense off the field and we have a lead at halftime. Run the ball down their throats, and sprinkle in the pass (though more bad things have happened in the passing game such as sacks and dropped passes)...

Our coaches need to realize that Huff is eating up #50, and leave a back in to chip on him.

Re: Memphis GameDay Thread

One play, 47 yards, Memphis TD. And some genius said we don't need to play keep the ball away from Memphis' offense.

Nice drive to start the game, and I won't fault the coaching staff for trying the onside kick. If it worked, they're brilliant, it didn't, nice try.
