I was just coming back to post about the change in the timing of spring practice. I always harped on what a mistake CJ was making w/such early spring practices not to mention canceling some of them. Being that early didn't allow players time to recover physically and mentally from previous seasons....

On thing I notice in film of him at practice and in game is his fire and intensity. He is not "down home" on the field. CJ always looked like a deer in the headlights. Spring practice will be a shock to some of our boys.

Back to the topic....Tanner Lee. He has been in the program 3 years, right? Why did the offense have to be "dumbed down" in 2015 by limiting plays for him? Remember....the offense "worked" when Joseph played. And Joseph was brought back and given a scholarship to mentor Lee and P...

His DC and OC at Ga So have lots of experience. If one is not promoted look for them to come to Tulane. His OC was with Fritz at Sam Houston. The DC also coaches secondary.

Lee was and is pretty frail looking despite his height. Without an upgrade in the OL any QB is going to get battered. Brees could not survive behind our line.
