Re: New Athletic Director Candidate Thread
You have to hire the new AD in the next 2-3 weeks so they are in place for college football coaching carousel. Keep Willie Fritz or worse case scenario be ready to hire the next coach. Tulane should give Willie a blank check and tell him to fill in the numbers. Willie will want to know who the AD wi...

Re: Willie Fritz top G5 coach on Michigan St coaching search
I don’t care about the P BS, Tulane has the money to pay WF if they want him to stay. They could double his salary in the blink of an eye. They say they want to be P5, then prove it. Give the man the money he is worth. Pay him like a P whatever if that is what it takes. Make a national statement th...

Re: Pratt for Heisman
This whole Pratt for Heisman went out the window when he was injured during garbage time vs South Alabama. He needed to perform against Ole Miss. Fritz and Nagle have done a terrible job of protecting their quarterback from unnecessary hits. Pound for pound Pratt is as a tough a football player I ha...

Re: North Texas GameDay Thread
Good Grief! What the hell happened? I couldn't watch the game today because of work but I kept checking on the score. Looks like a near second half meltdown! Every year Fritz delivers one stinker I hope this was it! Last year we lost Southern Miss, one year Tulsa's third string quarterback destroyed...

Re: New Athletic Director Candidate Thread
We need to have a new AD hired by December 1! That's when the college football coaching carousel is in full motion. In case Willie Fritz leaves we better have the new AD seated to either hire his replacement or entice him to stay. Tulane should be paying Fritz $5 million per year, he's worth every p...

We're going to hire a much better AD than Dannen ever was, I have no doubt about it! Thanks to Fitts and Fritz. As I was told last summer, the Tulane board finally gets it, they know how important it is for the University to have winning sports programs.

Bring her back home, motivated after viewing this video, she loves Tulane and New Orleans, great comments of Coach Fritz, think he would endorse her!!!

100% I will be ecstatic if Tulane hires either Monica Lebron or Brian White.

Re: New Athletic Director Candidate Thread
I would recommend Scott Sidwell for AD. No one knows Tulane better, as a former student athlete, and coming from a successful Power 5 Penn St. He knows how to get it done. Two posts, thanks for your input Mrs. Sidwell. Your boy worked for Rick Dickson so he's already compromised in my book. Next.....

Re: New Athletic Director Candidate Thread
Interesting idea to kick the tires on Sandy Barbour, see if she has the energy and motivation to help elevate Tulane's conference affiliation, and she might be the most respected female college athletic administrator in the country. I also suggested hiring Dr. Kevin White to lead the search committ...

Re: Troy Dannen new Washington AD
Troy Dannen was a step up from his predecessor, but had several shortcomings. His most important contribution was hiring and retaining a winning Football Coach. His other coaching hires were rather dismal. Baseball, despite an improbable conference tournament run, had one of the worst seasons in the...

Re: USA GameDay Thread
I wanted to reach through the TV and grab Willie Fritz and say "why are you allowing our Star QB to take an unnecessary beating!" Fourth quarter, the outcome of the game no longer in doubt, Pratt should have been handing the ball off, throwing the ball away or been out of the game complete...

Re: Athletics Department Update and Info
I got have lunch this week with a member of the Athletic Department in the Bay area who's out here meeting donors. I got some good insight into the current status of Tulane Athletics. Don't know what you guys know more locally in NOLA. 1. We are not going P5 now because we do not have P5 facilities...

I'm glad he hasn't gone to the portal and is sticking it out at Tulane. Maybe he can be the heir apparent to Pratt next year if he stays healthy. He looked good in his brief appearance against Houston.

Re: Hampton to Oregon
I'm sorry to see Hampton go but he didn't distinguish himself schematically against USC. We did nothing to contain the Heisman winner. Jarius Monroe made a great play on an interception and the safety was set up by their Kick returner losing the ball at the one yard line. Other than that, we didn't ...

Section 242, corner end zone on the Tulane side. Two tickets for $450 through Tulane ticket office. Can't be good sightlines, but I'll consider it a donation to Tulane. We need to sell out our allotment.

Re: Cotton Bowl Roll Call!! (Tix, Accommodations, Info, Things To Do)
I bought two of the premium seats through Tulane. They charged my credit card but I have heard nothing back from them yet. I have never been to Dallas. I'm flying into DAL and staying at the Doubletree. I'll spend a couple days exploring the city and then spend all day at the Cotton Bowl. I plan to ...
