Re: GAMETRACKER QUESTION
I think the host team signs up with the company. If I remember correctly, Dannen just announced recently that we'll be switching next year to SideArm Stats, instead of Gametracker. The one that's being used tonight I think is the same one that Memphis used this season. I'm similar to you where somet...

Re: AAC Conference Tourney
Game 1 final - Houston 9, Cincinnati 1
Houston pitched Trey Cumbie today, so if we win, we'll probably be facing Romero again on Thursday.
Cincinnati used 5 pitchers, but didn't start their ace. They started A.J. Olasz.

Re: Does Tulane host a Regional?
I would think if we're that close to being a host, that we'd at least draw a regional that's not hosted by a National Seed. If its between us and ULL for the last spot, for example, then whichever one doesn't host should be the #2 seed in that same regional.

Re: Athlon On Tulane 2016 Football
It's a transition year with a new coach and it's not like our last coach left us with a half-full cupboard of talent. What else are we to expect? As long as we fix the little things and keep improving unlike most of the CJ era (less special team blunders), I will be satisfied regardless of the reco...

Re: Should we begin to think about hosting a regional?
UNO stayed in the top 100 which is one good metric they take into account. Losses to teams w/RPI's in the 200's is frowned upon. Nicholls moving above it helped us in the eyes of the committee. Our RPI went from 34 to 27. That's a good thing. Exactly. I'm not sure how Nicholls sweeping UNO affected...

Re: Should we begin to think about hosting a regional?
That Nicholls sweep helped a lot. Boosted their RPI to 175, so it doesn't look nearly as bad to the committee that we lost to them twice. Only 200+ RPI loss we now have is that one Memphis game. Maybe they'll go on a tournament run.

It really hurt not playing the first game of the UH series on Thursday. At least we could have come back with Gibbs if we had to.

Re: Should we begin to think about hosting a regional?
I'll leave this here. http://www.d1baseball.com/analysis/postseason-picture-conference-rundown/ Tulane, meanwhile, climbed inside the top 30 in the RPI (No. 27) and owns a decent 9-6 record against the top 50 and a nice 18-10 mark against the top 100. Throw in the regular-season conference title, an...

No TV coverage now.
@TU_Dannen: "They brought a committee together. They voted 3-1 that since we are staying tonight, it's just like Game 1 or 2."
Not sure if it was team reps or what.

8:10pm official restart. According to AAC twitter, 4 hour rule only applies to getaway days. They're saying since Tulane doesn't leave until tomorrow, its technically not a getaway day. But earlier in the same rule, it specifically references "the last day of the series". So, because we bo...

According to AAC rules, on the last day of a series, no inning can start later than 4 hours after the start of the game, so no inning can start after 7pm. AAC rules also say that the season must end today.
