SBJ Prediction: The American Athletic Conference will renew its ESPN deal.
Even though AAC schools will not sign a grant of rights, the conference works out a renewal with ESPN. Expect rights fee to settle in the $8 million per school range — up from its current $2 million per school, but below the $10 million per school that the AAC wants. All eyes will be on Central Flor...

Re: Merry Christmas to all!
We have our disagreements, arguments, heated discussions, but share a love of Tulane Athletics. I'm very grateful to have this forum as a distraction from life, and a chance to share my (sometimes controversial) views with fellow Green Wave fans. Merry Christmas to one and all. Peace on Earth, and ...

Re: Atkins is gone
People forget quickly that many were calling for him to be fired as this season went on. We were extremely run dominant in his one game as OC which we can get away with when playing patsy of a defense. Hopefully he'll show at Charlotte that he can run a balanced offense . Then if we have an opening...

Re: Ragin Cajun sign best football class in school history
You really seem like a good guy, but really? You're going to come on a Tulane website and post about ULL's recruiting class? 1) Posted in the Other Louisiana Schools section were such posts are supposed to be, that's why it's called the Other Louisiana Schools section, I'd imagine.. 2) Posted becau...

Bigger loss than Ruse , obviously. Most likely felt taken for granted and slighted by Fritz not choosing him as OC . Next season will see three new coaches in the coaches room . Coach Hall , unable to tap assisistants for Mississippi , now being tasked with getting one for us . Appears the third ne...

Re: Ragin Cajun sign best football class in school history
Why should they not appear in Recent Topics? If you don't want to read it, don't open the thread. No argument here. I think most of us are capable of imagining what we will see if we open a topic in the forum 'Those Other Louisiana Schools'. Out of curiosity, I did an advanced search to find the so...

Re: Step 1....Turn on Fax Machine
Cajun, I think the reference to 'staus quo' is more in the sense of progress. Whether UL-L goes 6-6, 8-4, or 10-2, whether they win the SunBelt ten years straight or don't ever win it, its all irrelevant except to Cajun fans. They can never aspire to anything other than what they are. They'll never...

It ended up in the recent posts index. That's all. As soon as we stop responding to you, it'll disappear. At the risk of agreeing with Cajun twice in one day, I believe he is correct about this. At one time posts and replies to 'Those Other Louisiana Schools' did not cause a thread to appear in 'Re...

Re: Ragin Cajun sign best football class in school history
Cajun, I begrudgingly concede that Lafayette has an outstanding football coach and has just completed a recruiting class that was far beyond the expectations of most reasonable people. BTW GL, when I said, look at the gd result , I'm not taking about the recruiting class. I'm talking about posting ...

Re: Ragin Cajun sign best football class in school history
Also U LA LA is notorious for taking in high level recruits who can’t go anywhere else because they are academic non-qualifiers. U LA LA will accept them and take a huge risk on them but almost no one else will. The vast majority of these guys don’t ever see the field because they never make the mi...

Re: Ragin Cajun sign best football class in school history
Hey Cajun Troll, as I said previously, you guys don’t need a good recruiting class because you are in the Sun Belt conference and don’t need top recruits in order to win in such a pathetic conference. On the other hand, Tulane has to have good recruiting classes in order to compete with the much to...

I usually root for our ACC breathren in these bowl games for reasons listed above but not Houston. Anybody in our league but them. Its good to see them eating some humble pie. Ragin Cajun sign best football class in school history
In what is arguably one of the best recruiting classes ever assembled in the 118-year history of Louisiana Football, head coach Billy Napier announced that 19 student-athletes have signed to play for the Ragin' Cajuns for the upcoming 2019 season. Louisiana boasts the top-ranked class in the Sun Bel...

Re: Step 1....Turn on Fax Machine
Again, I don't understand why you guys seem so offended by my observations. Well... a cynic who believed your evaluations to be trollish might infer you were suggesting that Tulane eked out a winning season solely and luckily by stumbling upon help in the form of LSU transfer QB, McMillan. And of c...

Re: Step 1....Turn on Fax Machine
If McMillan “single-handedly” turned the season around, then I guess we don’t have to worry about who’s next yet, right? We can wait until a week before the 2020 season to find the answer and still become Bowl-eligible (and if necessary whip the Cajuns). You have now had at least 2 people challenge...

Re: Step 1....Turn on Fax Machine
Highwave, I said HERE, before the game, that the better team would win. And yes, all things considered, we over-achieved. It was going to be no easy task for that Cajun team to get to .500 and bowl-eligibility, especially after we farked it and lost at home to Coastal Carolina. We had Miss State and...

You’ve gone too far. This is a Tulane board. How did our game go last week ? What was that recent article from our resentful Louisiana newspapers declaring ? Oh yes, we dominated you and we are the 2nd best program in Louisiana and showed it. Go to your ULL board for a circle jerk. I look forward t...
