Re: Big news coming....
I hate to plead ignorance, but Gilbert is a MLB? Did CJ choose to fight for Gilbert for two (or is it three) years instead of Trent?

Re: Yulman Stadium (Benson Field)
I think it's very unlikely LSU will be playing any regular season games in the Dome. They make a lot more at home and their stadium holds 20k more than the Dome. Playing in the Dome does nothing for them from a recruiting standpoint and they can get the big teams to come to them anyway. I foresee m...

Re: 2013 season tickets are in the mail!!!!
I am still getting the recent graduate rate I believe. When I graduated, it was 5 years of discount prices. My five years has passed and I am not going to call and correct them. It is around what you are paying so that may be why they are cheaper than the normal prices. I am a recent grad but that ...

Re: 2013 season tickets are in the mail!!!!
I ordered the lowest level a few weeks ago but after the order the email said I had to pick them up at will call, I hope to get them mailed to me but have my doubts. First season ticket I have bought for anything ever, $100 is a joke. I'm not sure what point you were trying to make here, but thanks...

Re: Provocative Predictions
I never understood the heat argument, it's a reality of southern football for over a century. Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, Florida, Miami, LSU, SMU, TCU, Houston....heat often results in less clothing I might add. Not to mention, you trade the heat for the second half of the season when ...

Re: Provocative Predictions
The problem is you think small like SC. The reason for the small amount of fans attending games is the prolonged losing. In 98 we had had 15 losing years before TB/RR came along. As the winning continued we built to 38,000 against an unranked team. That's a quick turnaround from the below 5k actual...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlyvWlOhEYw Above is a link to a video showing UL-Lafayette's new football facilities -- indoor practice facility, game room, meeting rooms, coaches' offices, weight room, etc... Fairly impressive. They are vying to be the Auburn of LA and are clearly ahead of Tulane ...

Re: Biggest game of 2013
Well, if you rank them as far as likelihood of victory, I think you'd come up with: Jackson State; USA; @UTSA; North Texas; UTEP; @FAU; @La Tech; @Rice, @Syracuse; ECU; @ULM; Tulsa. I like this, that's pretty insane that ULM is that good especially considering LSU and ULL are both solid, clear evid...

Re: AAC Brand Equity Rankings
I disagree that this is about announced ticket sales. Perhaps I missed it but the method appears to look at total revenue. You are right. My bad. Yeh, it looks like that they looked at revenue and compared it to how many wins the program had, and concluded from that that SMU has more growth potenti...

Re: Food trucks? Not im my back yard!
There are a lot of businesses that are tough but as I said instead of complaining they should position themselves to compete. EVERY major city is on the food truck bandwagon and people love them, yet we should expect NOLA to be the one outlier despite it being a foody city? We hear the advantage dis...

Re: AAC Brand Equity Rankings
I disagree that this is about announced ticket sales. Perhaps I missed it but the method appears to look at total revenue. The interesting takeaway is that the AAC is ranked ahead of the ACC using this methodology. This in no way indicates that in total value the AAC outranks the ACC but it does in ...

Re: Provocative Predictions
The problem I have with JJ and WaveDat is that they assume (WRONGLY) that because I am excited about the OCS, even with warts, that I "think all is well" on Willow Street and in Gibson Hall. Yes, it angers me, as someone who has asked SC and RD tough questions face to face the one time I ...

Re: AAC Brand Equity Rankings
Surprising. SMU is the top program in this presentation and that's based on consistent support for the program relative to on-field results. That's something of a surprise in that I've understood that SMU has had some issues getting people to pay attention to their program and come to games and tha...

@NTGraff: Jay Bruce=beast. What could have been at #Tulane... He was a first round pick, so um ya. We no longer sign players anywhere close. Not sure if it is intentional or a result of the any limitations, however, wasn't the schollies at 11.7 in 2005? Perhaps an increase of about $10k in tuition ...

Re: Provocative Predictions
Complaining about pre-season optimism, good grief. Seriously, this is not censorship or the kool aid drinking situation, it's a guy who is hoping to get some enjoyment out of the year and have some hope, in many ways that what being a fan is really about. Virtually every team in the nation has fans ...

Re: Food trucks? Not im my back yard!
Ya the city (at least the mayor and most of the council) has actually been on the side of the food trucks on this one. Obviously can't blame the restaurants for fighting to protect revenue but in many ways they should be ashamed of themselves for their anti capitalistic stance. Instead of working on...

There are 3-4 teams of which i could not tell you what city, state or even region thay are located in.
Maybe the bowling team's schedule will make up for this mess?
