Re: Yulman Stadium Upgrades/Improvements

I wouldn't mind seeing us in the Dome once a year for a big-name opponent, only if we get a fair share of the dollars. The second deck on the West side is a must.

Re: Welcome New Posters

Just information and observations I have made. After the championship game I had so many mixed feelings of Michael Pratt, I realized it was his last game I ran down to the lst row of Westfeldt seeing him hugging patting players on the back, the comradery was so heartfelt. This developed over severa...

Re: Kai Horton

I am happy he is coming back and I do not think there was much out there to transfer to. All of the QB's on the roster and the one's who will come in will be learning a new system/terminology.

I'm going to predict Jordan McCloud from James Madison will be our QB from the portal.

Re: 2024 Baseball Season

We were more than competitive but the program was not top 10-15 over the entire period. We didn't finished ranked most years. We were a Regional club. Unfortunately our two trips to Omaha ended badly with the two biggest blown leads in CWS history. We deserve better than what we are getting and hop...

Re: Sumrall Era Begins

Red Flag , Sumrall had better be a better recruiter of players than he is of assistant coaches . Mostly very negative opinions of Craddock . I can not see us recruiting high three or an occasional four star player with this group of coaches . Let's hope for miracles . [b ]Huge Red Flag a coach that...

Re: Transfer QB's

GB, Let me explain this to you. Ever since KH came to campus you were building him up as if he was the greatest QB since Staubach AND at the same time your repeated shots at Pratt caused all of this crap. In fact, you kept stating there should be a QB competition up until we won the Cotton Bowl. The...

Moronic post. Defense was on the field the whole 1st quarter and gave us the points early.

Re: Virginia Tech Beats Tulane 41-20- Military Bowl

This game was actually much more competitive than I expected. We had a tie game into the 3rd quarter and a 1 TD game in the fourth. Those that thought we were going to win with our best players not in uniform, 5 coaches, a few of which have never been on-field coaches and using 5 of 15 allotted pra...

Re: Virginia Tech Beats Tulane 41-20- Military Bowl

I agree. More competitive than I thought it would be. Might need to grab a few bigger bodies in the portal on the D-Line as well. Proud of the boys who played. You really can't evaluate KH in that monsoon. Grubbs is a stud.

Re: Virginia Tech GameDay Thread-Military Bowl

1st Half analysis: 1. Let's get Slagle out of town quickly. 2. Horton is a game manager, but he's prone to the big turnover. Maybe with a decent OC, he can be better. 3. Ibieta needs to give up football. Kid is the tin man. He must have never drunk milk as a kid. 4. We need to get an established QB ...

I don’t care where he’s ranked. Looks like he played in a small classification and was way better than everybody around him including his own OLine, so he will be used to scrambling behind our OLine. He has nice athleticism and a good arm. His fundamentals in setting up and throwing look good. I am...

Wait, I don't get to make the call who the QB is. That's crap. On a side note, if KH doesn't get the job, I know someone who will need therapy. Agree I have a sneaking suspicion that we will catch some really good portal guys.
