Yes. It’s basically pro sports without a salary cap and without a contract to hold you to.

Re: Tiger droppings rumor mill
This is obviously 100% tampering if true. Its hard to be a college football fan nowadays with shit like this. Although NCAA rules prohibit coaches from contacting players before they submit their names into the portal, the system still evokes the Wild West. Donors can approach without penalty. See ...

Re: Tiger droppings rumor mill
Has anyone heard anything about Patrick Jenkins going into the portal and transferring to LSU? I had someone send me the link, and on the LSU side they think its a done deal. Thought it was strange because I just read and article with Jenkins talking about how happy he is. Hope its BS because that ...

Re: Kelly Comarda
I always look hard for reasons to be optimistic- hard to find that here. Not making this inexpensive investment ($200k/yr?) will get around athletic circles. The ACC is gonna have openings and we send this message, at this time. I remember a year or less after Tommy Bowden arrived, Tulane pulled a ...

Dan Hurley of UCONN now being heavily courted by Kentucky to take Cal’s spot. Rumors have UK’s offer to be higher than any SEC FB coach is currently making now. Wow. SEC money is nice for sure. FWIW: Hurley addressed the UK job within an hour of winning his back to back championship. He said he's n...

Impressive first showing by Ashley. From the looks of it Tulane has made another solid hire. I think she’ll have us in the NCAA’s fairly quickly.

Cal couldn't win at a school where he didn't need to cheat. No worries. They have already given him $5 million in NIL money to sign top talent. Link? here’s a screenshot on Twitter also https://x.com/goodmanhoops/status/1777176924210765850?s=46&t=H08XcY14tY_wg-twtPVS8g https://u.cubeupload.com/...

Re: Calipari to Arkansas massive deal
I think he’ll thrive there. The one and done freshman can’t compete with older transfer portal players. I think he’ll have some great success there if he changes from the failed one and done philosophy he had at UK. It worked well before the portal but after that it failed.

Another proposal that’s taking up space during a down time for College Football. As someone else said, the proposal is nothing until it’s something, but this one has a lot of speculation that’s unlikely to happen. And the additional post with Tulane as an 8 seed in an expanded playoff is also a com...

Re: Inside the new CFB Super League of 70 teams.
The beauty of this is that the garbage of the Big 10 and SEC will receive less money and the Alabama’s and Michigan’s will receive more. Florida St and Clemson will like this. So will the better teams in the P2. They are currently carrying the garbage (Miss St, Rutgers and the likes) Schools like Va...

Inside the new CFB Super League of 70 teams.
Unfortunately it looks like Tulane didn’t make the first cut. SMU last in. Now the NCAA is going to be sued for billions for denying athletes NIL money prior to 2021. https://theathletic.com/5383639/2024/04/03/college-football-super-league-cst-realignment/?source=user_shared_article The current CST ...
