Thanks for that ray of hope--it ignites a spark of badly needed optimism that the effort is still there.

Re: Southern Miss Score Prediction Thread

winwave has dismissed the hurricane and collapse of the AAC while the players were displaced in Birmingham as any factor in last year's dumpster fire season. He won't even let someone comment that they believe those two things were significant. Coach Fritz told us after the Ole Miss game that he ma...

Re: USC and direction school UCLA

I heard former UCLA QB and later HC, Rick Neuheisel, on ESPN Radio this week, saying their fans have been clamoring to build out an existing multisport stadium, designed for expansion to a 40-45,000 football stadium on campus. They've been talking about it since Neuheisel was the coach. UCLA academ...

At this point, Celestine is out-performing Spears in both practice and games; stick with the hot runner as long as he maintains ball security. Only way USM can win tomorrow is if we turn the ball over. From what i have been told, depending on walk=up crowd, a crowd of actual butts in the seats is e...

Cry me a river. Seriously grow up. You are the second coming of a yoggie wanting to ban everything because your tender ears can only hear "all is well all the time at Tulane". It's obvious you can't handle honest and realistic talk about Tulane so go to the yoggie site because Steve isn't...

We are 3-0 and have our scored our opponents something like 120-20 (pulling our starter for 2 of those 6 halves). We beat a good P5 opponent on the road for the first time in forever. STFU or get on the bandwagon. People are here now trying to jump on the bandwagon and I’m tired of the same bullshi...

The general public has little interest in reading about irrelevant programs. 25 years of Cowen and Fitts has made us irrelevant. A 3-0 start, or 4-0 start, is not going to erase 25 years of incompetence. We’ll need another 1998, or something very close to that, to garner interest in the media. This...

Sagarin now has us overall ranked 50th for the FBS. https://sagarin.usatoday.com/2022-2/college-football-team-ratings-2022/ Second highest of all the non-P5, or non-P5 To Be schools. I couldn't be more pleased. This is fun. That said, I can imagine another reality where Pratt doesn't recover the snap-fumble on that fourth down gamble with only a couple minutes left. I suspect that this forum would be a much unhappier place today with far less enthusiasm and optimism. Let's see ...

Hats off to Michael Pratt. The kid has guts. In one post game interview he mentioned that we knew they were going to rush three and drop eight, so he'd have to run more, and he did. To a career high. That said, I now have to join the people who have been saying Pratt's going to get killed. He has n...

Re: Tulane Beats Kansas State 17-10: 1-0 in Big12

Amazing what a signature win can do. FPI now has us at 43, up from 56. And according to FPI matchups, they have us losing ONLY to UCF and Cincinnati. I would GLADLY take 10-2. Of course, many are close and we could just as easily be 6-6 with a few bad bounces. Another bad week for AAC, though. We h...

And we played a full 60 minute game!! It was nip and tuck throughout and we never lost our focus and concentration. Nor did we fade physically—thanks to Hester’s strength and conditioning program, and the Gulf Coast heat we trained in.

Absolutely the best staff to date for Willie. The offensive play calling is like night and day compared to his first six years.
