Re: UAB Prediction Thread

Last week Coastal Carolina rushed for 296 yards against UAB. Let's hope Saturday will be another marque game for Dauphine. Last year against FIU many on this forum celebrated the "coaching brilliance" of Butch Davis but remember against the Panthers Banks was 5 of 16 for 36 yards and an interceptio...

Re: Ohio St Game

Let me guess: that statistic was created by PFF or some other analytical service. I can see where it makes sense, but what about when a QB is forced out of the pocket and ends up connecting on a long pass? Is that a Pass Rushing Win? If so, OSU is going to have something around 75% Pass Rush Wins ne...

What exactly is "Pass Rushing Win Percentage?" I've been around the game a long time and never heard of this statistic.

Re: UAB Prediction Thread

Here's what my head says, and I hope I'm wrong here. UAB 27 Tulane 21 This game has all the markings of last year's game at FIU. And I don't like the Coaches and Players talking about "taking care of business against a lower team." Army and Houston (under Major Applewhite) are the biggest wins of th...

Re: UAB Game Week Thread

No letdown this week: Tulane knows it needs to stay focused. https://www.theadvocate.com/new_orleans/sports/tulane/article_ac73bd56-b60d-11e8-b0dc-aba99e822c68.html They talk about staying focused, but I don't like that the players and Coach Fritz also talk about UAB being a "lower team." Until we w...

Re: Line Opens Tulane 3.5 pts. > UAB

Take a look at the Winsipedia page for the Tulane-UAB rivalry http://www.winsipedia.com/games/tulane/vs/uab We have played UAB 9 times and hold a slim 5 to 4 series lead. We have won our last 2 meetings played in 2011-12, each time scoring over 40 points, 49 to 10 in 2011, and 55 to 45 in 2012. Eve...

Re: AAC 3rd weekend games

As Hurricane Florence bears down on the East Coast, college football leaders are having to make decisions. As of 1:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, two major games have been cancelled: UCF at North Carolina and West Virginia at N.C. State. I really hope they get the UCF game re-scheduled. I think UCF puts a ...

Re: Line Opens Tulane 3.5 pts. > UAB

No, the oddsmakers don't watch. Their job is to put the line where as many bet on the favorite as is bet on the underdog. Because UAB lost to Coastal Carolina, a lot of gamblers will shy away from them. I would think the Blazers put forth a much better effort this week at home against us. I hope ot...

Parry just made one heck of a play at the back of the end zone. The Jets have lost at least 2 CB's, Parry will play a lot the rest of the game. They ruled him out, but I thought it should be reviewed. Game on ESPN with an announcing crew almost as bad as those that ESPN put on a Yankees Mets basebal...

If you have a facebook account, when you log onto Facebook, it will be right in front of you when they're broadcasting.

I have never sent it to a TV, but typically use a 24 inch monitor with my laptop. I might use a plain old USB or HDMI cord to connect to a 48" HDTV for this game though.

Coogs could easily be up 50 going into halftime. USF looking solid against GT.

There is no difference between AAC and 90% of the P5.

Greenies really let the conference down last week.
Greenies lost in OT to a team that was 6 point road favorites.

Having been on campus in April and checked out the old UC, the food options are way better than my undergrad years. Then again, the kids on campus today will say the same thing 30 years from now, I'm sure. When I was an undergrad you could use your meal card at Bruff, which was most common, or you c...

Is the new grill open to the whole student body, or just athletes? Ryan Griffin was and is light years better than Banks. Our o-line was constantly told by Griff at the line of scrimmage what the D was doing and what blocking scheme to use. Banks either hasn't mastered the RPO the way many others running it (including a true Frosh from Wake) have, or the coaching s...

The Colonels keep it close for a quarter or so. But they're not the FCS team that ends our winning streak against FCS opponents (it will happen, when we play a top FCS team). Tulane 44 NSU 17 Scheduling a top FCS team is very bad scheduling in general. If you want something tricky, go play a decent...

I don't get why folks are infatuated with Jack Abraham. He committed, de-committed and has moved on with his life. So should we. I'm sure people posting in this thread think more about Jack than Jack does about Tulane. It's not like he's Tanner Lee for crying out loud.   My money ...
