He's doing it again, across two threads no less.

Why can't we just get along?

Re: Potential Men’s Basketball Coaches thread

Maybe we should look at the Loyola coaches (men's and women's) They keep winning championships. lol. damn. Larry Cardaro is taking his Generals to the the RRAC tournament as the top seed again. They are 27-3. If we aren’t going to pay for a big time name, we might as well hire an upcomer who knows ...

Re: Loyola wins both men’s and women’s basketball conference championships!

I thought they had a recent Tulane transfer on the roster? Congrats to the Wolfpack, players, coaches and fans. Yes, they had the TU transfer from us that had played on Chilean National team. He was known for his defense and just being bat-shit crazy in general. I don't remember him. I know Ray Ona...

Re: Dunleavy disaster continues with 16th straight loss to ECU 85-81

30+foul shots for ECU and 20+ turnovers for Tulane. Can't anybody here coach this game? What makes you think turnovers are a coaching issue? Clearly there are several things coaches do to minimize turnovers. I read an article earlier this year about Purdue Coach Painter's zero tolerance policy duri...

Since it appeared right after mine and I talked about our lack of talent you can see why I took it that way.
I do. No biggie.

Re: Hold on to Latham

Now this site is becoming click bait. You think it's a thread about Latham and it turns out to be another thread for bashing Dunleavy. We all know about each of us feel about Dunleavy. He is coming back next year. Can we give it a rest? It's making the whole site quite tiresome and useless. I agree...

Re: Temple Game Two Thread

There's enough talent that we should fall into a few wins, especially more than the 4 we got out of a weak pre-conference schedule. But let's not start another Dunleavy stinks thread. Ignore the gbc posts entirely.

Re: Army Invitational Thread

Army ties it with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th without a hit. A one out walk, two stolen bases, a groundout followed by a wild pitch. Army scratches out another run, final score: Army 7, Tulane 6.

This is the toughest loss to date, IMHO.

Re: Army Invitational Thread

Army sure is playing a pesky game, it seems they come back with a run every time Tulane scores in the later stages of this game. I sure wish at the least we had Graf to listen to. I'm watching hockey (Rangers-Caps) and keeping an eye on the live stats. Lots of sports on TV today as the snow storm ap...

Navy - Notre Dame Rivalry

I'm posting this in the American Athletic Conference Schools area. I recently learned that the Navy - Notre Dame rivalry is the second longest uninterrupted rivalries in FBS at 92 consecutive games. While many may suggest ND should drop Navy, the ND old-timers have zero interest in ending the rivalr...

I thought today's game versus Army was an 11 AM CST start (Noon EST). But the article on the Tulanegreenwave.com website recapping yesterday's win says the game starts at 10 AM today. Can anyone confirm what the correct starting time is? Edit: The live stats page says it starts at 11:30, I assume th...

Re: Army Invitational Thread

Green Wave bounces back from early deficits (4-0 and 7-2) and takes down St. Joseph's 12-7. Gillies clearly didn't have it today, going 2.1 innings, giving up 6 hits, 4 runs (all earned) a HR, and 2 WP. Way to fight through and come back for the win.

Army tomorrow.

IF it would get us games against nationally recognized teams, we should do the same with the Superdome. Playing ND (and I would give them a 3 for 1 if needed, but probably couldn't be scheduled until the 2030's, as they're locked into 6 ACC games until the middle of that decade) or the likes of Mich...

W/R/T Basketball, put a product on the court worth watching and the fans will come. Lose 17 in a row, and go over a year without a conference win, and you can count the fans in the stands. That's not only how it is, but how it will be until a change is made at HC for men's basketball. If no change i...

I’m willing to wait and see what he does at the end of the season. The disruption of mid-season firings often makes them counterproductive. If he doesn’t make the right move (directly or indirectly) after the season it will be a travesty. Oh yea. Like the time he fired Ed Conroy but Ed kept winning...
