Re: Detroit Bankrupt
I never said the business climate was great and tried not to insinuate so. Just was defending against adjectives such as bad and horrible. I would label them above average to good. Things are better now as compared to anytime over the last 25 years. People are excited and there are real opportunitie...

This is what happens to a city that doesn't change with the times. Certainly a cautionary tale for NOLA. Xavier Paul + Other TU Stuff
Was watching the Dodgers v Reds game last night (I have issues) and in Xavier Paul's first AB Scully mentioned that Paul had a full ride to Tulane in New Orleans but turned it down to go pro. The next pitch he homered. Thought it was an interesting tidbit. Also if you have not watched the 30 for 30 ...

Re: Another transfer from lsu ???
Also as has been discussed previously CJ knows Frank Wilson pretty well. I'm sure he's got a pretty decent idea about what the kids capable of. Someone stated on here within the last couple of days that we currently have 79 kids on scholarship. If I'm CJ I'm using this scholarship on a one and done...

Re: Tanner Lee
I think we all hope that the other two step up and give Lee the chance to redshirt, that's clearly the best case scenario. However, I happen to believe that the best QB gives us the best chance to win now. If its Lee this year maybe our ceiling is a little lower than we are hoping. Practice hasn't ...

No risk, limited upside. CJ knows what he is doing on the talent department. At a minimum we have improved ST, perhaps dramatically.

Re: Hill of LSU, One of the Most Gutless Losers In The World
I must be boring but I see a fight maybe ONCE a year now. In my undergrad fights at the boot and on maple were very uncommon. Kids get kicked out all the time for being mouthy or too drunk but fists rarely swing. When did you graduate sader? I feel like it must be a different world now. I have to a...

Blocking a certain poster makes my experience here so much better. Not a big fan of avoiding content but the guy ADDS NOTHING but anger, vitriol and consistent trolling. Also can't say I am a fan of all the "weak" charges being levied about. Perhaps I am not seeing things clearly but more...

Re: CJ's interview on Fourth Down on Four
Ya our overall fanbase is a mess to say the least and is whatever negative adjective you want to use. I thought it was clear that people here were taking potshots on the few fans who participate on this board, which is unfair IMO. If I was wrong about that than I apologize. 99% of the folks here are...

Re: AAC loses Liberty Bowl
I could see the NOLA bowl filling in its place for the championship game. But still sucks. +1 The good and the bad. If you go 12-0 you're "stuck" with the Liberty Bowl. We need a legit playoff system and screw the "minor" bowls like the Liberty! But are you ready to be 12-0 and ...

Watched the La Tech v A&M game this weekend. They lost a lot of talent and their coach but I don't care because they had kids who can play and I am guessing playing behind the talent that left can only help the new starters. My point, a win against La Tech will be difficult and also a real boost.

Well I have to admit that SC is a visionary and was right about the stadium. He knew that come January there'll be the big split and Tulane will no longer be D-1. This town has shown there's no interest in anything not big time when it comes to sports . In fact the stadium is way too big for small ...
