Re: 2014 Baseball Season

My guess....

Carthon-lf
Alemais-ss
Garner-dh
Deschamp-2nd
Rogers-c
Kaplan-cf
Hope-3rd
Gandolfo-rf
Woodson-1st

France-Friday
Leblanc-Saturday
Merrill
Maples-Sunday

Could see Wilson at first interchanging with Woodson and my rf prediction might be off as well (maybe dimaggio, brown, yandel).

Re: 2014 Baseball Season

I have a feeling 1b will eventually be Tyler Wilson. A big kid who was best hitter on a Navarro Jackson team that I believe won the championship.

Re: 2014 Baseball Season

i think its a good thing we are only going to see one mainstay (possibly two) in field from last years team. should be exciting and refreshing.

Re: 2014 Baseball Season

winwave is really close on starting lineup. probably will see 7 new comers/freshman starting. i hear Rogers and deschamp were best hitters in fall. the hitting is up in the air but you will not see a better team defensively or speed wise this year. All starters with exception of one or two have plus...

Re: Baseball Recruiting Rankings

yes BA has recruiting analysis, however, they are known for their draft analysis. Perfectgame hosts showcases to rank players and BA relies heavily on mlb scouts for their info. my point is perfectgame may be more reliable in class rankings but lets not get lost in the weeds. this is a great class f...

Re: Baseball Recruiting Rankings

perfectgame is the rivals.com of baseball! if youve never heard of it you probably dont want to comment on baseball! Baseball America is primarily for the draft not so much recruiting. I have a feeling your too smart for your own good and id stick to tutoring..ive got my eyes on you johnathan

Re: New Baseball Addition

johnathan, i respect your opinion as supporter. A Wait and see approachis probably a safe attitude given last few years. However, "it will take much more than one class...." couldnt be further from the truth in college baseball. Very easy to turn around in two years with one class. i would...

Re: New Baseball Addition

Perfectgame has 2013 class at 26th not including Kaplan or taking into account players lost to draft (probably a top 15 class). Every player has made it in which is very rare given this age and given there were some recent scares about losing our top recruits to MLB. I'm not sure about BA team ranki...

Re: New Baseball Addition

i have to say out of the gate this incoming class would run circles around last years team. There are 18 yo freshman that turned down huge opportunities and/or mlb contracts to play here that no position player on last years team could claim. Anymore, college baseball is a sport that can be turned a...
