Ironically, the team that is beating us in regionals, also had their coach picked by Sue Bower. Sue was offered and turned down the Alabama job in 2004 and suggested to Mal Moore that he pursue Mic Potter from Furman, who has done an unbelievable job for the Tide for 9 years now.

Tra is working at one of the New Orleans charter schools. He is also refereeing high school football and basketball in/around New Orleans. He worked a couple of my son's basketball games and was one of the better refs we had.

No question our team is better this year, and I don't think anyone is disputing that. But if we played six more competitive games and won four of them, our overall record would be 2 games worse, our RPI would be significantly better, and we'd be more battle tested for the tough games.
