Re: Medical School Dean to Resign
http://tulane.edu/news/releases/pr_06192013.cfm See perfect choice. Now the new Dean can go in a different direction and no feelings with be hurt. Someone who's been in the family for a little while. Is that satisfactory for those who have been pretty critical of the way things have been going with...

This situation just stinks IMO!! We get called out as an embarrassing Bball program by the C7 and how do we respond.....losing half the team after an amazing 6-10 campaign in conference including I believe 1 away victory. Follow that up with keeping the coach, losing your assistant and signing avera...

Re: Yulman Stadium (Benson Field)
Hmmm...are others slowly starting to see the same picture that I've been seeing? There just is precious little room for expansion -- I wouldn't be expecting any expansion, unless maybe some small expansion, say, with something like suites, etc. There's precious little room at that site for a decent...

Re: Rick Jones
Going to be a rebuilding year IMO. A winning season will be tough. I see pitching being better if the injured return to their former ways. But counting on freshman in the field and hitting is too much. It's a long season and freshman usually hit a wall and fade out about the time CUSA play starts. ...

Re: Tulane's New Football Roster is Out!
Well, since I reviewed the roster this morning, they have dropped the names addressed above. Sure hope those players have access to a degrees. They were walk-ons, degree access isn't really an issue unless they were walking on in an attempt to get a scholarship, which is a pretty ridiculous gamble ...

I believe they upped rep % as well as retention %, 2 areas we are lacking vs other top 50's The retention I get but why are we lacking in reputation? Reputation is a ranking done by other university professors and presidents. It has a strong east coast bias. Anyone west of the Mississippi that isnt...

Re: Yulman Stadium (Benson Field)
"$70M, State of the art stadium" is an oxymoron. It's like saying I just bought a brand new, state of the art car for $5K. Further, the report also suggests that the stadium is entirely funded via donations, which we know to be factually incorrect since there is the bond issuance that we'...

SB Nation names him a pre-season All American. Sadly we are the only team that does not have an emblem. Makes me sad.

As soon as Scottie retires fire Rick Dickson,Rick jones,Lisa Stockton and Conroy. Get young aggressive coaches that we expect to get Us to the NCAA tournaments every year. No more $500,000 salaries to Jones or $350,000 to Lisa for taking us nowhere. Both are lazy in recruiting. Do a lower base sala...

GreenWave is right and it is something I have said many times.....SC gets great publicity, almost unanimous praise and don't just tell me it is PR as these are smart people who get sold all day. My question was always how can our reputation category be a negative when SC seems to have a lot of resp...

Yeah but to be fair we always say we want an up n coming small conf coach. Conroy had won CoY in his conference and turned a horrible Citadel into a mediocre one. I still didn't like it but I can see WHY. But I'm a dreamer. Coach K wants to come here, I just know it! ;\ Is that what we want or is t...

Re: Tulane ranked 6th higest tuition in the nation
Not sure if GreenWave is doing his job effectively or adding to the problems by making excuses. I tend to believe that leaders provide solutions not excuses yet SC's excuse making has apparently permeated to all his employees. On the other hand, trying to diminish the damage could be a more appropri...

Re: Tulane ranked 6th higest tuition in the nation
I've said this numerous times, but if you intend to remain in New Orleans or South Louisiana for the long haul it makes more economic sense to go to LSU. You'll make way more long term connections that will help you get a job from NOLA to Houston and spend way less money. A LSU law degree will get ...

This thread sort of cracks me up. As if the attitudes of the small amount of remaining fans has any relevance to the outcome of these games. TU absolutely should start 2-0 but at this point nothing can be certain. Would losing to one of these teams be worse then losing to 7-44 UNO at home? mba I ap...
