Re: Future OOC Games

What's wrong with playing Rice? I realize they're C-USA, but they've been fielding competitive teams. While I don't know anything about how their fans travel (or attend their own games for that matter), it's not that hard to get from Houston to New Orleans.

Re: This doesn't seem that much ULL sells 12K season tickets

Found that article I mentioned. And as I said, a lot of Cajun fans complain about the practice because others tend to report inflated attendance numbers. When he heard attendance at Cajun Field for UL’s 49-35 win over New Mexico State last Saturday announced as 30,028, Ragin’ Cajuns coach Mark Hudsp...

Re: This doesn't seem that much ULL sells 12K season tickets

Tulane has a completely different fan base than ULL. Most Cajun fans that buy tickets actually attend the games. But Tulane has many fans that buy season tickets but live out of town and only make HC if that. 99% of schools count tickets "distributed". ULL is unusual if they don't . Just ...

So as of now you guys have folding chairs in your meeting rooms. Look we heard about a stadium for the last 15 years or so and its finally funded and is here. We were supposed to get the basketball practice facility 5 years before we finally got it. Tulane has an equal chance to get a first class m...

Re: Southeastern Louisiana

Should be a great gameday experience in the Big Easy with Yulman packed with fans.

What do the Lions return on offense and defense from last year? I'm thinking it must be a good number of returnees to rank so high in the FCS preseason poll. How about your skill players, special teams, etc?

Re: Football Squad/Meeting Room

Generally high schools are not recruiting the kids that play there with the exception of a few so facilities mean very little. However, if you don't think facilities is playing a role in the reason more kids that would've gone to St. Aug are now going to Brother Martin, Holy Cross, and even Jesuit ...

Think about what? Ok, I was having some fun with that one. As a large black dude, I can see how calling our stadium the plantation wouldn't be cool, but I got a good laugh out of it. That would make for a great Dave Chapelle skit. Or Key and Peele. The irony of a stadium called "the plantation...
