Re: Kansas State
then what makes you think they are doing it for recruiting...KSU is nothing more than the JR and Senior years of ITT tech...without juco's they would be Kansas It's not extraordinarily rare for Tulane to battle KSU for a recruit - the latest example is Tre Jackson and Tyler Johnson this year. http:...

Jonathan Wilson & Jacoby Hill, will be playing as true Freshman. That stings!
At the 1:50 mark... Let us have a little more backbone in our recruiting this year.

Re: Big XII Expansion
I was shocked when they announced the invite. I don't know if they're "not even as good as Tulane across the board" but certainly Rutgers was not any athletic gem. They do have tremendous upside, particularly being the state "flagship University" and in the largest media market ...

Re: Wave wins over UMASS on the road 31-24
Both of Umass' first quarter TD's were rub routes (picks). I will feel much better about our o-line if they give Glen time against UCF.

Re: UMASS Game Thread
If Mark Whipple had been hired by Tulane in 2012 we would have a very strong winning program today. This guy understands how to implement a Pro scheme around the talent that he has on hand. Apparently, he's a New England guy, he coached at St. Lawrence (technically not NE but practically in Quebec)...

Re: Football Recruiting 2017
We have found the skill position players b/c they are in abundance here. Linemen not so much. That's where the national aspect of the school comes in. We can look in the N/E and midwest for good linemen who want to get out of the cold and who value education. It's also a crap shoot in terms of eval...

Re: Football Recruiting 2017
I can't speak highly enough about the job that our o-line & d-line coaches are doing. The guys up front are being very well coached on both sides of the ball. In order for this program to blossom, we need to reach out for o-lineman and d-lineman talent as the first order for recruiting this year...

Ed Orgeron, a gentleman and a great man. A man that tried to coerce Tulane Football Athletes to defect from Tulane at its worst time during Hurricane Katrina . Ed Orgeron, a man that failed as a coach at Ole Miss. Ed Orgeron, in the end, it's all about the kids. Oh, not about the millions of dollar...

Ed Orgeron & Pete Jenkins on the same staff! That's a beautiful thing. I am officially an LSU fan. You think Bebe is hard to understand? Wait 'till you get to hear Pete Jenkins. Remember when you said the addition of Ed O was just what LSU needed and that they'd be winning the national champion...

Re: Line Wave 2 & 1/2 pts. > UMASS – The Spread Thread
If you want some idea of how far we are from Houston: They host UConn this week, who we're pretty comparable to. The line started at 23 before the season, went to -25.5 today, and is already at -28.5. There has to be a "payback" factor with that line. UConn had the good fortune of playing...

Can anyone explain this offense to me. I'm very concerned for our future. The play calling is disturbing.....not at all what I expected from Fritz. How in the world are we going to recruit with this crap! Well, any hs senior qb would look at this current level of play and say to himself, "I've...

I think the smell of roses that Dannen blew up Fritz's posterior is waning.
Losing to Sun Belt ULL, what a boon for recruiting!
