Re: Spring Practice 2021
Gbgreenie I applaud your enthusiasm and I sincerely hope you get to rub your prediction in all of our faces in a few months and then again at the end of a successful career with Kai Horton leading us to a W over LSU. Hopefully right after that win, LSU is given the death penalty Hey, Kai Horton has...

No he really doesn't. Then again I'm not sure he is paid to bring winners to Tulane.Profoundwizard wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 5:09 pmI’d forgive TD for all prior fuckups
But I have to ask, does Dannen even care about the baseball program?

Who didn't see that coming!
Can't blame the girl. Good luck to her.
Our AD should fire LS, Jewett and the radio guy today.

Re: Gee, thanks Andy
It’s not the one game. It’s year round baseball that has caused the arm problems. Years ago most good athletes played all the sports however the problems began from kids playing baseball 12 months a year trying to get signed. Travel ball etc. Big difference today. Playing year round they could burn...

Honest Question: What were the red flags you guys saw before he was hired that made you confidant his hiring was a mistake ? Nobody else was trying to hire him. That was a dead giveaway for me. Then when he got hired, he alienated the entire team with his stupidity with the players clubhouse and pr...

Re: La. Tech Series Thread
Tech has an outstanding Asst Coach/Recruiting Coordinator on their staff, Mitch Gaspard. Plenty of HC experience as well. If you’re suggesting him as a replacement for Jewett then I think we can do better. We could get the La Tech head coach if we wanted. Gaspard was a HC at Alabama and has plenty ...

Re: Drew Brees to Notre Dame
Happy for Drew. He more than paid his dues to enjoy such a post-NFL gig. He owes the City nothing. He brought the city a Super Bowl win, consistent excellence and plenty of charitable donations. Actually I think he'd be crazy to stay in this city/state. Poor schools, crime infested areas, over taxed...

Half of me believes TJ is not HC material. The other side says Tulane will not give the baseball program the tools it needs to compete nationally. Either way, we are wasting a Friday night stud.

RIP John Chaney
I witnessed Tulane basketball in its hey dey destroy his Temple team 99-75 that went to the NCAA's. The posse was alive and well and Fogelman was packed to the rafters. We were ranked 21st at the time and would go on to with the regular season title and to the NCAA'S. That team averaged getting 10 s...

Re: Slowly..
The rules are very unfair to the defenses . The ejections for targeting are ridiculous. You can get a unsportsmanlike penalty and remain in the game but if you make a split second decision on a tackle you are removed from the game.

I have us at 7-5 but Jeff Duncan I'm pretty sure he has no idea about Tulane. On the other hand he has LSU 7-1 and ranked in the top 10 at one point. Got to sell those subscriptions! The Latoya stuff was pretty good though.

I think he is a solid kid. Has handled some obstacles really well and reminds me a lot of Amare Jones except he has better hands. Very strong and great vertical.

Re: Cyron Sutton
Welcome Cyron. We have a qb who can deliver you the ball. Small 5'10" 185 lbs, to win in the AAC we need big tall receivers 6' 2" or taller, the kind that gives Jaylon Monroe trouble on jump balls. The kind the Tigers get. Reason Sutton ended up at McNeese too small for major college Foot...

Re: AAC Bowl performance
Tulsa lost the game and fight to a 3-7 MSU team. I think that makes the AAC 1-4 in Bowl games. The post game fight was extended and ugly. The MSU coach wasn't surprised, though he did try to place the blame on Tulsa, repeating "we didn't have any problems like this in any of our other games.&q...

Now I know why I only come to this place a few times a year. Tulane has a better chance of being in a NY's 6 bowl before a certain guy admits he is ever wrong. Uma Thurman, as Johnny leaves on a recruiting to trip in Dallas " Johnny, be good".....Pepper, part of that movie was filmed here...
