Steve Roccaforte and Jeff Reynolds

Their Virginia Tech Hokies upset #2 Virginia on the road 61-60 Roccaforte was easily the best recruiter in Tulane basketball history. He put together top 25 classes when at Tulane (No. 8), at Memphis (No. 1), and at Lamar (No. 6) and now Virginia Tech. http://www.hokiesports.com/staff/roccaforte_ste...

Re: Signing Day Thread 2018

Damien Tate, kid from New Orleans that Fritz has raved about, tweeted today that he is taking the ACT. That would lead me to believe that he is not yet academically qualified. Hope it goes well. It’s tough even getting PWO’s in school. They have to compete for a spot against the regular student bod...

Re: Wave robbed in Tulsa 91-89

Unbelievable effort by the team and coaches. As I watched the game I just kept saying the basketball gods will get these kids this win,and damn if they didn’t. Only one glitch, even the basketball gods can’t overcome the officials. Reynolds should have been at the foul line needing only 1 of 2 for ...

Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick

If he’s 1st round he’s going to go. Why risk an injury coming back? This. If he's definitely 1st round, he's gone. If not, he'll probably come back. There's a huge difference in the NBA in being a 1st or 2nd rounder. And if he's the leader of a breakout Green Wave season next year, it'll help his s...

Yep. Dunleavy can now say he had one of his Tulane players go in the 1st round should he overcome his injury and stay healthy.

Re: Wave robbed in Tulsa 91-89

Refs were bad no doubt. But once again we lost the game on the FT line. Just make one more in regulation and we win. There’s no guarantee we make a FT if that foul was called at the end of regulation they way we shot it tonight. Credit to the coaches to overcome the injuries and stay in this game al...

ESPN’s most current NBA mock draft has Melvin Frazier going late in the first round. Moved up from 2nd round.

Football Season 2018 is underway and the athletic department is offering a number of options for current season ticket holders to get better seats at the same (or reduced) price as last year. It appears the athletic department has heard the feedback from frustrated previous season ticket holders su...

In an attempt to stop the bleeding Disney to charge $4.99 for ESPN Streaming App starting this spring. https://twitter.com/cnbc/status/960986368812965888 Thanks, I don't need them. No new QB.
Despite the departure of quarterbacks Johnathan Brantley and Khalil McClain after the season and Lindsey Scott's decision to sign with Missouri, do not look for Tulane to add a quarterback on Wednesday.

I may be missing something, but is there a printed or posted roster of Tulane Baseball 2018 somewhere where we can see on which side of the plate each player hits and if he's left- or right-handed? At what point do you start playing younger guys for next year? TU basically played 6 players yesterday. Reynolds is gone and Frazier may be as well. Desperately need interior defense and rebounding, time to give some of the freshmen bigs some time? I like MD but I cannot see anyway this team gets t...
