Re: Great articles by Tammy on Tanner Lee, our receivers in

Great articles by Tammy and TP staff on Tanner Lee,our wide receivers and running backs in today's Sunday Times Picayune. Do we have the quality offensive line finally to protect Lee from sacks and open large holes for our running backs Badie and others? I really like our tight ends and I hope they...

Re: CJ on Lee: "Pencil his name in..."

So if Lee is indeed "penciled in" as having the pole position on the starting QB position for 08/28, does this mean that the Montanas eschew from attending games this year, what with their son riding the pine? Probably not, because things could change in a heartbeat, but I'm sure they are...

Re: Future OOC Games

I'd like to see us renew the series with Vanderbilt. Finding a way to get Ole Miss and Miss. St to play here twice every decade should be a priority. I love the Ga. Tech series. ULL is a good series. Get USM back on the schedule every now and then. Take a shot at a Miami or a Notre Dame. TU will NO...

Re: Beat Tulsa

Yes. This is the most important game of the year. We really need to beat Tulsa on the road to prove that we are the better program 8n this era. A loss to Tulsa will screw up the entire season. Absolutely. And since this is a game which starts the season with the two lowest preseason ranked teams in...

I'll never forget leaving the stadium that night and the TU radio color guy (Rick Kingrea I think) on the saying that after TU made it 48 late in the game that he would have onside kicked and gone for more! :)

Re: So what's Yulman's nickname going to be?

When are these USL clowns going to go away? It's like McNeese State trying to call themselves Univeristy of Southwest Louisiana or something creepy like that. My two cents: Yulman is gonna be called Tulane Stadium, because thats what the football stadiums on Tulane's campus have been called for a h...

Re: Stadium seating capacity- I welcome your comments & crit

I really believe Tulane's original design was to build a 30,000 seat, 35,000 capacity stadium when first proposed. The battles with the NIMBY's and the need to get started ASAP really really killed that plan. The height deal we made was a big blow. They held a gun to Tulane's head on that one. I be...

Re: Field visibility

This is indeed true. When I selected my seats there was a group of seats that were "blacked out", at least in section 119, which I am sure is true also in 123. The blackout out seats were in the form of a "v". The individual who helped me select my seats told me that they made a ...

Mettenburger get's punched by Tide fan

I'm no LSU fan by any means, but it seems as though Tide fans are pretty much over the top, maybe more so than the tigger group. But then again, what about the Sooner woman fan (I'll not call her a lady) who attacked the Tide fan at the Sugar Bowl. Maybe it is a malaise among college football fans. ...

Hmm. Spring football for the non-P-5?

Not a bad idea actually. Once the LSUs, Oklahomas, Floridas, USCs, Notre Dames and the like started going 7-5, 6-6 or worse on a regular basis, the P-5s might want to rethink their monopoly. http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/june-jones-smu-proposes-non-big-5-teams-play-springs-seasons-...
