Okay, who lives on Chamberlain Drive?

Passing by the 5900 block and there was a huge Tulane flag hanging from the porch archway. Fess up. :D

The parking agreement struck between the neighborhood and the city of New Orleans prohibits on-street parking by fans on game days . This part sucks. Also, can someone define "neighborhood"? There's got to be a point where the "NIMBYhood" ends and just plain neighborhoods start,...

I noticed that the football schedule had "TV" next to ALL the games. That's never happened before.

BYU told not no but hell no

BYU was considering the ditching the independent route so they asked the Big12 about joining the league. Uh, no...said the Big12. They're happy at 10 for now. So I guess that means TU better point themselves in a different direction if and when the decide to leave the AAC. And I suppose any discussi...

Given the parameters of the question I would say 4. But 6 for the '14 season. Maybe.

Because better days are right around the corner. Uh, wait. Nevermind that angle. We've all heard that one too many times before and been disappointed. Ah, just go with all the reasons above and give it some more time. Oh heck. I'm not helping am I. Just go with your gut. That's it. Try that.

While I can't disagree with the comments above, I must remind those folks that you can't compare a predominantly freshman team to a predominantly junior/senior team. Experience wins out over inexperience every time.

But the only one I have a problem with is Eyes Wide Shut made the list. Geez, that movie belongs on t...

Whether Hope deserved to be the on the C-USA all freshman team may not be because he deserved to be there because of his play. He may be there because there was no other freshman that played any worthwhile time at 3B in C-USA and therefore there was simply no one else to choose from.

Re: Stadium Capacity

Is the size of the stadium and our scheduling going hand in hand? Are we never going to play a good home game again? Troy just managed to sign a home and home with NC St. We've already seen Dickson was willing and wanted to throw away the Ga Tech series rather than move to Dome. BYU is no chump.......

Re: Tulane giving vs 'peers'

This scale seem about right to me. Since Tulane gets most of their enrollment from outside New Orleans and LA, then it would be difficult to get donations from those who can't see their dollars at work closeup. Especially in the realm of athletics since TU is seldom on TV, or even worse, ranked in j...

Yvette Jones replied: Dear Mr. Price, There are 25,000 seats in Yulman Stadium. However, when you include the spacious decks and club areas and the informal seating and standing areas, Yulman Stadium should be able to accommodate a sell-out crowd of 30,000. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Yvette Jones ...

While we couldn't hit water if we fell out of a boat, maybe with a little pitching & D we can keep it close, and then maybe a miracle can happen again.

We've come a long way folks. In "reverse". We went from scalping tickets for $10 & $15 for the '73 TU/LSU game to giving away tickets to the TU/TUlsa game in '13 (win making Tulane bowl eligible).

Re: Baseball vs. LSU 6:30 PM @ Turchin Stadium

It's become the only game I look forward to seeing these days. LSU fans will turn out and most Tulane fans won't miss this one. It's a real good baseball atmosphere. Hopefully we can play error free, run the bases without having a mental lapse and pitch well. If we win I'd say it would be 3-2 or so...

Re: 2014 Baseball Season

Not withstanding the schedule, I think the '14 version of Tulane baseball has and will remain a case of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". Reason being---collective youth of the team. And the w-l record should reflect this youth.
